With the advent of OTT platforms, people have found a new way to consume entertainment. Directors and writers too have found a space where they can be experimental and can come up with some great content. From watching daily soaps on TV channels to transitioning to binge-watching shows on OTT platforms, a lot has changed and viewers have accepted this mode of entertainment too.

There have been a few shows that people have really loved watching and have been waiting for their second seasons way too desperately. The announcements of season two of these shows have already happened but it does feel like ‘intezaar lamba hai’.

The Family Man

After watching the first season of The Family Man, people couldn't wait for the second season of Manoj Bajpayee's show. The series revolves around Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj, who might be a regular family man, but when at work, he is a 'world-class spy' dealing with terrorists. The second season would be bigger and the teaser has already been dropped. The second season of the series The Family Man, which was expected to release on February 12, 2021, has now been postponed. Filmmakers Raj and DK, who are the directors of The Family Man, took to their Instagram to announce the update. “We know you've been eagerly waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are truly grateful and humbled by all the love! We have an update for you. The Family Man Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this summer! We have been working super hard to get you a kickass season. And we are pretty sure you will love it. Can't wait to bring it to you (sic)," the note read. We really can’t wait longer for this one now.
