Heres How Ishaan Sethi Is Re-Inventing The Tech Nerd Look

Movember (or No Shave November) is all about being lazy, growing out your beard and looking good while doing so. We speak to 30 men—from all walks of life—who have mastered the art of grooming a good mug-rug, and are now ready to spill all the beans. Read on:  Name: Ishaan Sethi  Profession: Founder, PropheSee. © ishaansethi Tell us about your beard timeline. How long have you been growing it. Any special beard stories:  I've been growing my beard since Aug 2011. I've never kept it as a flowing beard, but more along the lines of a clean, matte & pressed look. Since growing my beard, I went clean shaven once (no other choice: I fucked up my shave on my own and it was all asymmetric so had to take it off). Couldn't recognize myself—in fact, didn't even want to—have never shaved it all off since.  Favourite beard products (if any):  Since my beard isn't a big flowy one, I don't have any dedicated products I use. However, in order to keep it at this length & shape, I have to trim & shave, a couple of times a week. Hence, I’ve invested in good after-shaves, razors, trimmers & moisturisers.  © ishaansethi Does it Help or hurt your chances of getting laid. Are guys into beard?   Definitely helps. Perhaps it has to do with confidence too—I feel a million times more confident when I have my beard. Besides, I also think while the lumbersexual trend may be fading (or faded), a well groomed beard can add oodles of maturity & appeal.  How do you maintain your beard. Tell us your routine—how often do you wash it etc?  Since it's not a heavy beard, I don't wash it etc. I trim and shave to keep it neat about twice a week & hit up my stylist once every two weeks. He's a pro at creating all the right lines so that it accentuates my jawline. For those conscious about their baby cheeks (like me!), the way he (my hairstylist) lines it up, my cheeks instantly go from chubby to you-want-to-play-with-them (grins)! © ishaansethi One beard do's and don'ts? Don't get a beard if you aren't going to maintain it, whatever the style may be. Nothing looks worse than a dirty, unkempt and all-over-the-place beard.  Has it changed your sense of style. Do you dress differently to fit your beard?  I wouldn't say I have changed my style to suit my beard. I got my beard when I was 19 and I'm now 25, over the last six years my style has changed distinctly given my moves from Portland, OR to Manhattan to Brooklyn, and now back to Delhi. I would say my style is rather eclectic but I've worked my beard into my sartorial choices rather than the other way around.  © ishaansethi Do you think beards will be huge in 2017?  Yes. Not the lumbersexual, ultra-manly look, but perhaps a more suave, kept, and slick look.

As A Mark Of Farewell And Respect This Collector Drove His Chauffeur To Work On His Last Day

The civil servants in our country enjoy a position of pivotal power that puts them on a high pedestal. Unfortunately, some of them are also infamous for abusing their power. But with great power comes greater responsibility and one such civil servant roved that for us. G Sreekanth, the collector of Akola district in Maharashtra just set a beautiful example of humility. On the last working day of his chauffeur Digambar Thak, the collector drove him to work himself, in his decorated car. © NDTV Digambar Thak retired after 35 years, serving almost 18 collectors in his duty span. G Sreekanth gave him the farewell and the respect that the hard working man deserved.  If only our country had more thoughtful men like G Sreekanth, this nation would be in safe and responsible hands. 7 Artists To Keep An Ear Out For At Bacardi NH7 Weekender Hyderabad

We’re still reeling from the Shillong leg—what performances, what weather and what an experience that was! Now, there’s Hyderabad and it’s just as exciting. Shillong has kinda raised the bar high so we’re hoping. But, here are 7 artists performing at Weekender Hyderabad whom you should absolutely not miss out on, whatsoever. 1. Dinosaur Pile-Up © Dinosaur Pile Up Formed in 2007, the English alternative-rock band have released three albums so far; the latest being Eleven Eleven. The album has been doing great on the music charts and now the band is all set to tour Hyderabad. They’re inspired by the Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Beatles and The Beach Boys. So those of you looking for some good international music with a legend quality won’t be disappointed. 2. Nicholson © Kshitij Kankaria A live electronic project based out of Mumbai, Nicholson comprises of singer-songwriter Sohrab Nicholson—the brain behind the project—and producer, drummer and multi-instrumentalist, Rohan Ramanna. Their first EP, ‘So What’ garnered them enough eyes and ears to make them performers at Glasgow’s Concert Halls, Nh7 Weekender, Stage 42 Festival, Magnetic Fields Festival, Ziro Festival of Music and the Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Be prepared for one of the best sets of the festival. 3. Bhayanak Maut © Bhayanak Maut The Mumbai-based metal band that has been raging since 2003 is one of the country’s most popular bands, period. Comprising of Sunneith Revankar, Rahul Hariharan, Venkatraman (Baba), Aditya Nair (Amidtsya), Ishaan Krishna and Vinay Venkatesh, Bhayanak Maut prides itself on their embodiment of the state of the world as it is in the modern day and age. Fans have a lot of head-banging to do.  4. Prateek Kuhad © Prateek Kuhad His soulful music and voice is hard to miss and then not love. The Mumbai-based singer-songwriter has composed a lot of singles and has been active on the homegrown Indie scene since about 2012. But, he only released his debut album, Tokens & Charms, in January 2015. His music is minimal with some folk arrangements and pop rock melodies and is perfect for that bluesy feel that leaves you with a warm glow in your heart. Give him a listen and you’ll know what I mean. 5. Skrat © YouTube Founded back in 2006, the Indie band sways between the alternative and hard rock melodies. Comprising of three members—Sriram T T  on guitar and lead vocals, Jhanu Chanthar on Bass and Tapass Naresh on drums and vocals—the Chennai-based group have been prevalent on the music scene in major cities. They have played over a 100 gigs and are all set to stir up a crowd in Hyderabad this weekend. 6. The F16s © Facebook Hailing from Chennai, the alternative band echoes the melancholia that grapples with the mundane everyday life in a town that serves very little outside of itself. Very lyrically driven and reverb-heavy, the F16s released a 6-song EP in 2013, called Kaleidoscope and a two-track record in Brooklyn. In the same year, 2013, they won the Jack Daniel's Award for the Best Emerging Act. 7. Alluri © Alluri Music Hyderabad-raised and London-based Redd Alluri is changing the way Indian indie music is created and heard around the world. His debut release, Man of Truth is proof of the indie revolution Alluri is creating. All of the songs have been written by the artist himself and are an extension of his cultural discoveries. His music has subtle Bowie, Floyd and The Smiths undertones that make them all the more enjoyable. Alluri gets it bang on.

The Coldplay Concert Might Just Get Cancelled Thanks To Congress And Everyone Is Losing Their Sh*t

Do you have the concert ticket and your friends currently hate you while you can’t wait to Snapchat it live while singing along to Chris Martin? © Twitter While the lucky fans in our country have blocked November 19 for experiencing Coldplay live, in another world, the news floating around is not a happy one.  According to recent reports, the BJP government is getting a lot of flak from Congress for giving major concessions for the concert, as a ploy for getting more votes in the coming year’s polls. Twitter, the ranting ground, of course roared back in chorus. Not making this up: Congress wants @Coldplay Mumbai concert scrapped because BJP 'using it to woo voters & violating Municipal poll code'. — Shiv Aroor (@ShivAroor) November 4, 2016 Dear Congress, Thanks for doing this.
Now that you are trying to get #ColdplayIndia scrapped
More of a reason that people wont vote you! https://t.co/8xB2sQeAO2 — Somya Saxena (@SomyaSaxena) November 4, 2016 Metallica fans smile quietly to themselves, internalising the deep, deep pain they still feel. https://t.co/m8ksvfbI9T — Karan Bhasin (@KaranBhasin13) November 4, 2016 Go home, Congress. You’re drunk, beaten, slapped, humiliated and have been looking like a caricature for a long time now. https://t.co/2tZ47sRtHS — Jaskirat Singh Bawa (@JaskiratSB) November 4, 2016 Was a political intervention really required for this? Can our country no longer enjoy the freedom to experience art without impromptu delays anymore?  We know. This angers us as much as it angers you right now.

This Woman Retired As A Peon And Her Doctor Engineer andamp IAS Officer Sons Attended Her Farewell

Nothing is impossible in life, and this can’t be said enough number of times. Sumitra Devi worked as a peon at CCL (Central Coalfields Limited) township in Ramgarh, Jharkand. The lady worked hard to ensure proper education for her three sons and when she recently retired, her sons attended her farewell function – one of them is a doctor, one is an IAS officer and one is a railway engineer.  © Financial Express It was a proud moment for the mother, who didn’t leave her job as a peon even after her sons got into the prestigious jobs. Clearly, this woman knew the value of hard work and was a living inspiration for her sons. Her elder son Virendra Kumar is a railway engineer, the second eldest Dhirendra Kumar has become a doctor, and the third son Mahendra Kumar is the district collector of Siwan in Bihar.  Attending their mother’s farewell function, the three sons praised her hard work and credited her struggle as the inspiration behind their success. They said how seeing her struggle they decided to work hard and make something of their lives.  The farewell was an emotional affair. While Sumitra Devi was both proud and emotional on seeing her sons attend the function, her colleagues were all praises for her. She was presented with a shawl and a flower bouquet.  H/t – Financial Express

The Mask Of Zorro Star Antonio Banderas Turns Designer For Selected Homme

Last November, when Antonio Banderas enrolled himself into the prestigious Central Saint Martins (a college that counts Alexander McQueen and John Galliano as it’s alumnus), we knew something exciting was on its way. Using his newly acquired design degree, The 'Mask of Zorro' star has collaborated with menswear brand, Selected Homme, to create a (limited edition) collection titled, Antonio Banderas Design by SELECTED.  © selectedhomme The limited-ed collection is now available in India (yay!), and has hints of Mediterranean blues, and an wide array of classic menswear pieces like tailored suits, polo shirts, woolen top coats and funky leather jackets.  © selectedhomme Speaking about his association with Selected Homme, Antonio said, “It’s no secret that I live part of my life on the red carpet, so I am automatically tempted by great tailoring. But for many men that same need to feel handsome in a suit is evident when throwing on a simple T-shirts and jeans—myself included”.

Smaran Sahu Is Giving Us Insider Secrets On How Male Models Maintain Their Beard

Movember (or No Shave November) is all about being lazy, growing out your beard and looking good while doing so. We speak to 30 men—from all walks of life—who have mastered the art of grooming a good mug-rug, and are now ready to spill all the beans. Read on... Name: Smaran Sahu  Profession: Model/Actor  © Smaran Sahu Tell us about your beard timeline. How long have you been growing it. Any special beard stories:  My beard grows pretty quick so from the day I trim it down to a zero, till it grows full length—it takes about 10-12 days.  Favourite beard products (if any):  None. I clean my face with regular face wash and sometimes shampoo it. Trust me, it works wonders.  © Smaran Sahu Does it help or hurt your chances of getting laid? Are women into beard?   They (women) seem to really be into beards. However, how much of that is accentuated by this current wave of beard adorning, versus their actual love for beard—is known only to them.  How do you maintain your beard. Tell us your routine—how often do you wash it etc.?  Beard maintenance and the act of keeping a beard, both in the same sentence seems counterintuitive. Just let it be and keep your face clean, that's it.  © Smaran Sahu One beard dos and don'ts? Don't get gripped by this unnecessary fad. Grow it if you'd like to, don't (grow it) if it doesn’t appeal you.  Has it changed your sense of style. Do you dress differently to fit your beard?  Not really (laughs).  © Smaran Sahu Do you think beards will be a thing in 2017?  I think for Indian men, who already are blessed with hair all over, growing a beard has become an easy way of accessorising your face. So much so that even those who can't, say necessarily carry it, feel obligated to do so. Hence, it most likely will continue being in vogue here, just because it's so easy to keep and grow one.

If You Are Getting Injured Too Often In The Gym You Need To Read This

Sports injuries are common if you lead an active lifestyle. Injuries may occur anywhere. Be it a training ground or the gym floor, you are always vulnerable. Multiple reasons are there that determines the cause of an injury. However, keeping in mind certain factors, one can definitely prevent the chances of injury while training. This article would be highlighting the basic principles to prevent the sports injuries.  1) Mobility Drills © betterbodygroup Before you start your workout, mobility drills are what you need to perform in order to circulate more blood towards the working muscles. Mobility drills also help in enhancing the joint mobility by increasing the synovial fluid that further leads to better and smooth joint movements. It also raises the body temperature and prepares the body for the intense workout session. 2) Warm Up Sets © bodybuilding Unlike the mobility drills, which is a general body warm up, the warm up sets are the specific warm up for the certain exercises/muscle group. Always prefer to incorporate at least 2 warm up sets of 10-15 reps before the main working sets. The poundage of your warm up sets has to be 20% of your main working sets. It helps the central nervous prepare the targeted muscles for the physical stress in the form of exercise. 3) Correct Form And Technique Check © simplyshredded Now this is the basic and one of the most important factors to prevent injuries. Always perform the exercise with the correct form, under an experienced and certified trainer (especially the beginners & intermediates). Without the right technique even the basic exercise like the barbell curl could injure you. The right biomechanics not only prevent injuries but also helps in training better and effectively.  4) Breathing Pattern © youtube Breathing is an integral part of the workout. Valsalva maneuver, which is the common breathing practice being used by most of the lifters helps in preventing the injuries, (especially around the spinal cord) by increasing the intra abdominal pressure. To simplify, think of a tyre which runs better and can bear more load; only if it has proper air filled in. The same principle applies to the human body. However, the valsalva maneuver should not be practised by someone with cardio-respiratory issues. 5) Post Workout Stretches  Never underestimate the power of post workout stretches. Studies suggest, a regular 10-15 second post workout stretch relaxes the muscle and enhances its elasticity. The stretches should be preferred post workout because stretching of warm muscles is safer and effective as compared to the cold muscles. Stretching cold muscles have higher chances of muscle tears. Moreover, stretching temporarily reduces the contractile ability of the muscles. Therefore it is always good to avoid it before the workout Hence, train safe with the above mentioned training principles and always remember, precaution is better than cure! Rachit Dua is an advanced K11 certified fitness coach for general and special population (people with medical issues, old age people, pregnant women, and children) and a certified sports nutritionist. 10 Doctor Strange Comics You Should Read Before You Watch The Film

Look, I’ll admit it. I’ve never been much of a Doctor Strange fan. I’ve been collecting comics for almost 25 years now and I can’t really recall too many Dr. Strange issues in my collection. He was always a character that seemed to be a little out of place. I mean, think about it, here is this distinguished surgeon who then becomes the Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel Universe through a series of accidents and finally redemption. All of this takes place in a universe with mad space gods, green monsters and a man with a suit of armor! I didn’t take to Strange at first but one of his appearances in the very awesome World War Hulk was enough to make me trace down the back catalogue of this kickass character and lay down a list for all you comic book fans.  So, here’s a list of 10 Doctor Strange comics you should read before you watch the film.  1. The origin of Dr. Strange - ‘Strange Tales #115’ © Marvel This marks the first real appearance of the good Doctor in a seminal book written by Stan Lee and drawn by the maestro, Steve Ditko. The writing is rather simple but it tells the story in a clear and concise manner. What really draws you in is the art of the magnificent Steve Ditko.  If nothing, check it out for some cool retro art and get a glimpse into the bizarre world of Dr. Strange.  2. Doctor Strange vs World Breaker Hulk - ‘World War Hulk miniseries’ © Marvel The fight between Worldbreaker Hulk and Zom possessed Doctor Strange is all kinds of cool! From smashing each other with raw power and magic to even a mental battle, this appearance of Doctor Strange will definitely go down as one of the most badass incarnations of the Doctor. It also helps that the art was drawn by none other than the great John Romita Jr.   3. We’ve All Got This Strange Fever! - ‘Spiderman: Fever’ © Marvel A Spiderman and Dr. Strange team up? Say it ain’t so. Drawn by the awesome Brendan McCarthy, this was one of the comic books that really took the psychedelic nature of the character and ran with it. In this book, Spiderman is kidnapped by dimension hopping spider demons and Strange has to come to the wallcrawler’s rescue. It’s a trippy book, believe me. 4. Retconned for A Modern Age - ‘Doctor Strange: The Oath’ © Marvel Written by super scribe, Brian K Vaughan (Saga), ‘The Oath’ was meant to introduce the good Doctor to the modern Marvel Universe and it succeeded fairly well. This was also the miniseries that re-launched The Night Nurse as this sort of metahuman doctor, which has become canon on the marvel Netflix shows. Check it out for the cool art and a modern retooling of a 70s character. 5. The one that we all read! - ‘Doctor Strange: Sorcerer Supreme’ © Marvel This was the first Doctor Strange comic book I ever read. Remember the 90s when every character had spikes and shoulder pads and everyone was angsty and angry? Well, Roy Thomas took the character back to his roots and gave him a more magical and fantastical world to inhabit. Gene Colan also drew the hell out of it! Pick it up if you’re into demon fights and trips into terrifying dimensions.  6. Dormamuu makes his entrance - ‘Strange Tales #126-127’ © Marvel Just like how every hero has his or her rouges gallery, so does Doctor Strange. One of his worst and most dangerous enemies is the demon Dormamuu. No one knows if he’ll make an appearance in the film or not (I really hope he does), but this is his introduction to the Marvel comic book universe. Feared and worshipped, Dormamuu is an inter-dimensional dark god who is The Doctor’s greatest enemy.  7. Doctor Strangedoom? - ‘Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment’  © Marvel Written by the magnificent Roger Stern and illustrated by artists Mike Mignola (Hellboy) and Mark Badger, this graphic novel is beautiful as it is action packed. Long before he hit it out of the park with ‘Hellboy’, Mignola cut his teeth working for both Marvel and DC and this was definitely some of his finest work to date. The story pits Strange and Doom against Mephisto as they attempt to rescue the soul of Dr. Doom’s mother. Check it out if you like grand tales of battle and the amazing, amazing art.  8. Jason Aaron takes a Stab at Strange - ‘Doctor Strange: The Way of The Weird’  © Marvel Look, I like Chris Bachalo’s art. But then again, I’m a child of the 90s and grew up ogling at his work on ‘Shade, The Changing Man’ so I may be a little biased. But here he weaves page after page of awesomeness that it’s mind blowing. Jason Aaron of ‘Scalped’ fame took over writing duties and really hit the nail on the head with the character. He focused on the true consequences of fighting magic on that scale. Pick up the trade for an excellent story and some truly amazing artwork!  9. Stranger Than Strange? ‘Doctor Strange: A Separate Reality’ © Marvel A collection of the 70’s run by Steve Englehart and Frank Brunner, this was the run where Dr. Strange left a more magical universe and walked into a darker and more dread filled world. Sometimes the stories would just about jump into Lovecraftian themes and also introduced the monstrous character of Shuma Gorath (Marvel vs Capcom, anyone?). Cool artwork and a mind bending story make this a must read comic book. 10. Defenders Assemble! ‘Defenders: Indefensible’ © Marvel Even though he’s been a part of the Illuminati and the Avengers, Strange is best known for his stint with the Defenders. They’re a rag tag bunch of some of my favourite heroes like the Silve Surfer, the Ghost Rider, Hulk and Namor! They’re always arguing with each other and the banter by veteran scribe Keith Giffen (Lobo) is pure gold. The art doesn’t hurt the eyes as well. I’ve always like a bit on humor in my comics and this run does it remarkably well. Check it out if you like your comics mixed in with a hefty dose of superhero comedy.

Pratyusha Banerjee Had This Conversation With Boyfriend Rahul Before Committing Suicide andamp Its Really Disturbing

Earlier this year, one of the most popular names on Indian television, Pratyusha Banerjee was founded dead in her apartment. The whole nation was in a state of shock to know the 24-year-old girl committed suicide. Rahul Raj Singh was subjected to nation-wide hatred for abetting her suicide. While her contemporaries in the industry had a lot to say about her life and what could have led to her suicide, nobody knew the real reason for sure. © Facebook 7 months later, there has been a major revelation in the case. The transcript of Pratyusha Banerjee’s last phonecall with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh just before she ended her life has been revealed to Indian Express and the details of Pratyusha Banerjee’s life, relationships and mental state that have unfolded are gut-wrenching. © Indianexpress © Indianexpress © Indianexpress © Indianexpress © Indianexpress © Indianexpress During the course of the conversation, one can see Pratyusha Banerjee slipping into the hands of death while her boyfriend helplessly tries to convince her against the same. The conversation also reveals some murky details about a possible abortion, death threats and a serious case of moral policing and slut-shaming. Knowing that this is the conversation she had just before ending her life is beyond disturbing. It’s heartbreaking to know life and its situations can push you over the edge so mercilessly that even breathing feels like a burden. Pratyusha Banerjee’s case is far from closed but we hope her soul rests in peace.

Ranveer Singh Says He Is A Traditionalist When It Comes To Love And Is Curious About Tinder

Ranveer Singh has been the golden boy of Bollywood for some time now. From delivering mega hits to having Bollywood’s leading lady by his side (we hope they are still going strong despite the rumours), Ranveer is the most enviable man in Bollywood right now. The ‘Befikre’ star is known for his carefree, quirky and fun-loving persona. He has always worn his heart and sexuality on his sleeve making many a lady go weak in the knees.  © Yash Raj Films Ranveer recently opened up about his romantic side in an interview to Filmfare. When asked about how the concept of romance has changed over the years, from ‘DDLJ’ to ‘Befikre’, and if he is tune with it, he said, "I’m traditional when it comes to romance. For me things like Tinder are bizarre. I’ve not been able to understand this new definition. I’m old school. Though I started off quite early. I was born in 1985. The ’90s were my formative years. There were no cell phones at that time. Today’s kids have a cool outlook but it’s not me. A 20-year-old assistant on the set showed me all the girls who were messaging him on Tinder. They were girls from Mumbai and Delhi, confident of their sexuality. It was fascinating for me. There has been a attitudinal change towards romance. But, I can’t count myself as one with a modern outlook." Would Ranveer ever sign up on Tinder? "I’ve never been tempted to go on Tinder. But I’m curious to know what it would be like to be on that app," he said.  © Yash Raj Films When asked about doing ‘Befikre’, a role so different from that in ‘Bajirao Mastani, he said, “First of all, if Aditya Chopra wants me in his directorial venture, I’ll blindly say yes. I always wanted to be directed by him. After being directed by him, our equation has grown substantially. I’ve always known him as my mentor and my producer but a director-actor relationship is different. I’ve gotten to know him more during the last one year. ‘Befikre’ is also what the doctor ordered after ‘Bajirao’. I’m immensely appreciative of what ‘Bajirao’ has given me. With Mr Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it’s always blood, sweat and tears. It was emotionally, physically and mentally draining. I died in ‘Bajirao’ and now I’m coming back to life with ‘Befikre’. What more could I ask for?” H/t– Filmfare

4 Instances When Milind Soman Proved That Hes Built Of Steel

I hate distance running just as much as I look up to Milind Soman. While he’s an inspiration to couch potatoes, he has made sense out of his countless knee running, cortisol raising distance runs. He trains with a purpose and that is to compete, or at least, participate in some of the world’s most feared endurance sports. Here are the four most outstanding running endeavors that foster Milind’s image as an unbreakable endurance athlete at the age of 50.       The IronMan Triumph © Facebook The IronMan Triathlon is the ultimate test of human endurance. Milind trained an entire year for the race, arrived at the venue and completed the grueling 16 hour test. He completed a 3.86 km swim, 180.25 km bicycle ride and 42.2 km run under 15 hours and 19 minutes. And mind you, he is 50 years old. Guys half his age either can’t lift more than their bodyweight or run a 5K without suffering an injury. Running 527 Kilometers, Barefoot From Ahmadabad To Mumbai  © Facebook As a part of his association with Pinkathon, an initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer and for promoting running as a sport and lifestyle, Soman undertook a daunting run from Ahmadabad to Mumbai, barefoot. The total distance he covered over a course of a week was a baffling 527 kilometers! Cycling 180 Kilometers From Guwahati To Nagaon In the spirit of Pinkathon, Milind this time took his bicycle out and rode from Guwahati to Nagaon covering a grueling 180 kilometers. And, mind you, more than half the distance was an uphill climb.  The Berlin Marathon One of the world’s most anticipated races, the Berlin marathon attracts some of the world’s most sought after endurance runners. Of course, Milind was one of the participants this year and without batting an eyelid, he completed the grueling 42.195 kilometers.  Milind Soman stands as an example of ‘whatever your sport is, commit to a goal’!

Rakesh Roshan Claims Krrish 4 Is Going To Have A Heavy Dose Of VFX andamp Weve Never Been More Scared

If you are a fan of Hrithik’s “out-of-the-world” ‘Krrish’ series (how many ‘ r’ does the word have seriously?), then God bless you. You have been judged and how! If you are not a fan, then there’s news that is not the best virtual delight in the world. Rakesh Roshan, the mastermind behind the series which started off well but is only going down the drain, has recently announced that the fourth instalment will be high on VFX action and a lot of action. © Facebook In an interview, Roshan said, “We will start shooting next year in April or May… or may be in 2018. It’s a huge project. We need to work on VFX and that too in our budget. But it should be appealing enough for audience”. The intelligent idea behind the fourth instalment came to papa Roshan after his wife showed him a picture of Ganesh ji with the head of Krrish.  While it is obvious that Hrithik is going to be the lead actor, the woman in question is still undecided. © Facebook Let’s hope we don’t have to bear a heavy brunt for his imagination and the movie is actually worth all the effort.

Aamir Khan Thinks Ranbir Kapoor Is The Best Actor In Bollywood andamp This Is What Humility Looks Like

Aamir Khan – the only one of three reigning Khans of Bollywood who would rather spend a whole year making a film he really believes in than being a part of 3 blockbusters a year. Aamir Khan – the only A-lister who’s pushing the envelope with his work, while others continue to cash in on their superstar status and stick to formula films. Aamir Khan – arguably one of the finest actors in the history of Bollywood. When a man of his stature, talent and credibility calls a fairly new actor the best in the industry, it’s humility at its best. Just saw Ai Dil... WHAT a film!!! I just LOVED it! Karan has hit the ball out of the stadium... — Aamir Khan (@aamir_khan) October 29, 2016 ...Ranbir, Aishwarya and Anushka have just killed it. Ranbir is the best actor! Period! A must see! — Aamir Khan (@aamir_khan) October 29, 2016 Aamir Khan recently watched ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and was all praises for not just the film but Ranbir Kapoor. 28 years of experience in the industry and some of the biggest hits ever to his credit, and this man has absolutely no hang ups praising a contemporary in public. Take a bow, Aamir Khan!

The Wonder Woman Movie Trailer Will Re-Instill Your Faith In Female Superheroes

It’s hard to put in words how disturbingly trashy Cat Woman was. Halle Berry and the whole cat woman thing just never went down well with the audience. Ever since then there’s been a dearth of Female Superhero movies. Independent female superhero movies is what we are talking about, not in the supporting roles. For those who think the job of a superhero is better left with the males, 'Wonder Woman' is here to kick your ass. DC Comics dropped the first trailer for 'Wonder Woman' yesterday and it is freaking cool. Gal Gadot looks like an ass whooping super goddess, the CGI will blow your mind and since the story has been created by Zack Snyder we have high hopes from the movie. The film hits the theatres in July 2017. Check out the trailer!

4 Mistakes Most People Make When Following A Keto Diet

The ketogenic diet is probably the most famous fat loss diet program across the globe.  It’s not just known for its fat loss benefits but it also aids in treating numerous medical issues like epilepsy, diabetes, obesity and Alzheimer. All what you need give up is the carbohydrates such as bread, rice, potato, chapati, sugars, and all the junk food, of course. To be precise, the diet comprises of the 75% healthy fats, 20% protein and 5% Carbohydrates (hidden carbs).  However, despite being the most popular and effective fat loss diet, a lot of people fail to drop body fat using the ketogenic diet. With this article, we shall be discussing the 4 common mistakes. 1) Too Much Protein During a keto diet, our body switches its metabolism from glucose to ketones. Too much protein in the diet pulls you out of the ketosis   and the body again switches to the glucose as an energy source through the process called gluconeogenisis. Exceeding the protein ratio as per the keto diet plan would not let the body to use stored body fat as energy effectively. Therefore, always keep the protein as per the required ratio. © Thinkstock 2) Too Much Fat Well, no wonder the ketogenic diet is a super high fat diet but at the end of the day, the fat loss is determined by the calories in versus calories out. Excess of fat will also restrict the speed of fat loss in the keto diet program. However, the plus point is, excess of fat will still not spike the insulin level in your body as the carbohydrate/sugar does.  Therefore, always get your diet planned; by a certified nutritionist who could provide you with an accurate diet plan as per the required macro nutrient ratio. © Thinkstock 3) Don't Go Nuts For Nuts Nuts are allowed in the keto diet, but wait!  Are you among those who just love binging peanuts, cashews or almonds as a filler meal. If yes, then probably you are taking yourself out of the ketosis state.  50 grams of cashews or peanuts simply gives you around 10gram of carbohydrates, and incase, you are eating around 100 grams or above, the chances of exceeding the carbs ratio hikes, by just binging those crunchy nuts. Remember, you stay in the ketosis effectively only when you maintain the carbs intake less than 30 grams per day. © Thinkstock 4) Lack Of patience Lot of the people follow the keto diet just for a week or 10 days and unfortunately, quit!  Just because they are not losing any pounds and not at all feel as energetic as a person on the ketosis state feels. Well, one needs to understand the fact that we have been on carbohydrates since we came to this planet. On the other hand, when we are trying to switch our metabolism, which has been glucose adapted since so many years, it takes at least 6-8 weeks (depending upon metabolism) to switch from glucose to ketones. One has to be patient and stay persistent with their diet to witness the coveted results. Dear Christian Institutions Goregaon Socialandamprsquos Satire Wasnt Wrong. Your Rigidity And Intolerance Is

I come from a religious background—Christian family, believer of Jesus Christ and have the utmost respect for spirituality and different faiths. You can, in a way, say that I am a devout Christian. I am devoted to the belief and the faith. Yes, there are people out there who do not respect other faiths and those who won’t think twice before taking a dig at other religious communities; that I am not devoted to. But, I am also not devoted to being intolerant and creating a religious current out of everything and nothing. In case you’re wondering what I’m going on about, here’s a recap of the recent spat between Goregaon Social and two Christian institutions—The Watchdog Foundation and the Archdiocese of Bombay. © Social Offline The Watchdog Foundation—a devout Christian religious group—filed an FIR against Goregaon Social, a part of the Social Offline franchise of Riyaaz Amlani’s Impresario Group, for having showcased a range of religious figures doused in satire; for instance, an image of Jesus Christ holding a leather bag and Moses holding a tablet PC. They labeled these images “blasphemous” and criticised the description of the photo album on Goregaon Social’s Facebook Page—The Cathedral of Anti-Consumerism.  The Archdiocese of Bombay soon joined hands and updated their Facebook page, demanding that Goregaon Social’s license be revoked until all images were taken down. Riyaaz Amlani, CEO, Social Offline, issued an apology to the institutions, assuring that the images had been removed. He explained that the imagery had never been in bad taste; but was just “a satirical statement against the ever growing trend of overt consumerism”. The Archdiocese responded with an acceptance of the apology and reminded Amlani that the institution shall continue to monitor the situation further. Here’s my problem: Why was an apology required? I’ve known maestros interpret religion and religious figures through the ages, in different ways. All Amlani’s Goregaon Social did was interpret the same in a modern age, to depict an issue. And come to think of it, how is religion today not a part of the ‘overt consumerism’ Amlani tried to portray, anyway? Isn’t Religion one of the largest selling points that governments are using? Isn’t religion the largest selling point that institutes are using to provide privileges or reservations? Aren’t people taking advantage of said religious “perks”? Aren’t your “institutes” openly converting people to your faith for lesser? How is that not mockery? How is that not “blasphemous”? When did freedom of speech and expression, through forms of art, opinion and interpretation become an act against religion? Dear Watchdog Foundation/Archdiocese of Bombay,  Is your religion, your faith so weak and rigid that you cannot allow this expression, or are you forgetting various important tenets of the very Bible you preach from? And no, this isn’t a question from the “masses”, I’m glad. Then, you would position yourself as the victim, the target of a religiously prejudiced nation prying on an outnumbered community. This is a question from a fellow Christian who believes in her faith and her spiritual orientation to be stronger than your structure, institution and rigidity. © Goregaon Social What Riyaaz Amlani did only proves one thing—faith is not about glorifying one individual, or institution. It is about rising above religious differences and proving that humility is a far bigger virtue than your doctrine; and that trivialities like yours need to be smothered. I for one, seem intellectually intrigued by the concept of Jesus Christ carrying a leather bag because it begs to question what our faith would amount to had he been born in the modern times. Maybe, you as a religious institution need to broaden your own minds and accept that creative differences stem in every sect and culture. That’s what Jesus Christ stood for—the unity in the diversity; the differences among the commons and the flaws in the structures. He never differentiated between a leper and an alleged prostitute. He never condemned. We live in a secular and tolerant country. And if you cannot be tolerant of such trivial creative interpretation, you really shouldn’t expect an institution, or even a government of a largely different faith to be tolerant of you. Simple. Don’t do unto others what you don’t want done unto you—basic tenets of Christianity. Don’t manipulate the ‘Gospel of the Lord’ to suit your personal egos. That’s “blasphemous”, too!
