3 Natural Face Masks That Are Sureshot & Pain-Free Way To Remove Annoying Blackheads

With oily skin, comes a dozen other skin problems. Dullness, acne, blackheads and whiteheads, among other woes. Although all skin types struggle with blackheads, people blessed with oily skin have more prominent and stubborn blackheads that just add to their already existing skin woes.  © iStock Whether or not you have oily skin, if you have blackheads, there are ways to get rid of them and achieve spotless and smooth skin at home.
You can rely on the natural and fail-safe ingredients to whip up some DIY blackhead removal masks that are easy, effective and don’t hurt as much as those eye-watering, viral peel-off masks you have seen on your Instagram feeds. Those are no friend to your skin.  © iStock Here are three homemade masks that actually do wonders for your skin, while removing blackheads without pain or effort:
© iStock 1. Oatmeal & Honey Mask © iStock Oatmeal is coarse and thus, can help exfoliate your skin while removing the blackheads and whiteheads effectively. It also leaves your skin moisturised and soft.
Blend oats into a powder and add some honey to it to make a thick, sticky paste. Apply this mixture to the affected areas like your T-zone and let it dry.  Scrub it off after 15-20 minutes and rinse with cold water.     2. Egg White Mask © iStock Egg white helps zap oil from the skin and because it’s sticky, it works as a natural peel-off mask that’s also incredibly easy to make at home.
Separate egg white and yolk and whisk the white portion until it’s frothy and white. Apply it onto your face with a facial brush and cover it with bits and pieces of tissue paper.  Once completely dry, peel it off and wash your face.    3. Lemon Peel Off © iStock Lemon is an excellent ingredient for oily and acne-prone skin and if you are dealing with clogged pores, there is no better face mask than the one with lemon juice as its main ingredient to clear excess sebum, dirt and extract blackheads.
Take gelatin powder and warm water in a bowl and add a few drops of lime juice to it. Mix until it’s a gooey mask. Apply it on the blackheads and let it dry before you peel it off. Wash and moisturise.

4 Bollywood Movies About Boarding Schools That Will Hit One Right In The Feels

If you've been a fan of the Harry Potter movies, you cannot deny the fact that studying at Hogwarts, the scenic and towering magical boarding school in the wizarding world, was at top of our wish list. © Warner Bros. © Warner Bros. Now, while nothing can really come close to beating that, let's just say that the life of a student studying in an Indian boarding school isn't all that bad.
Talk about The Doon School in Dehradun, The Lawrence School, Sanawar near Shimla, or the Good Shepherd International School in Ooty, all of them are set in marvelous scenic locations that are expected to give a child an experience of a lifetime. © Doon School © Facebook/Good Shepherd International School While, of course, it can be tough to leave the comfort of one's home or the support from one's parents, however, boarding schools offer a shot at independence unlike any other, aside from a chance at making a really good bunch of friends for life.
Like all things in India, Bollywood films do a more than decent job of showing us the life and times of a certain event, and we'll let it do the same for the life of a student at an Indian boarding school. 1. Rockford © Disney Plus Hotstar The Bollywood coming-of-age film was directed by National Award-winning director Nagesh Kukunoor, and boy did it do a great job of describing life in a boarding school.
The movie tells the story through the lens of Rajesh Naidu, a 13-year-old boy who leaves home to study at the Rockford Boys' High School. While Rajesh is of course a tad bit sad and lonely at first, he soon makes some really good friends at the school. Together they try fighting off the school's big and bad bully, Raja, who clearly does not have much affinity towards Rajesh, who also ends up forging a deep friendship with his PT Instructor/mentor Johnny Matthew. Be it in terms of boarding school friendship, awkward high-school romances, or bullying, Rockford succeeds in displaying all the elements perfectly, making you want to enroll yourself in a boarding school. 2. Taare Zameen Par © Netflix Okay, we all cried when Ishaan (Darsheel Safary), an 8-year-old boy with dyslexia, was shipped off to boarding school and "Tujhe Sab Hai Pata Meri Maa" played in the background.
Now, while the boarding school life was indeed very tough for him at the start, it is there that he meets Rajan, a physically disabled boy, who actually cares for him as a friend, regardless of him being good at academics or not. Most importantly, the boarding school becomes the place where Ishaan ends up meeting the very empathetic art teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh, who really tries to help Ishaan out of actual care and not just obligation. The movie may be more about a social message than the focus on a boarding school, however, the fact that the movie does explain how adversities become an opportunity to brew true friendships regardless of age , all in the backdrop of a boarding school scenario, cannot be ignored. After all, it is, after living in the boarding school, that Ishaan truly ends up getting closer to his mother and father. 3. Udaan © Netflix Well, we know what you're thinking. Udaan? Really? That movie was more about an abusive, alcoholic father (played by Ronit Roy) doing everything in his power to stop his older kid Rohan (Rajat Barmecha) from pursuing his dreams.
The thing is, that the movie begins with Rohan living out his boarding school life, and it clearly paves way for the entire film. At the start, Rohan along with his close buddies is seen jumping the walls of their boarding school hostel to catch a late-night movie, only to be later caught and expelled. While hell awaits Rohan on his return home, the movie shows how his loving friends, that he had met in the boarding school, play a silent yet integral part in being a glimmer of hope that helps him come out of the darkness. In the end, one just feels that if that studying in a boarding school was what it took to make such long-lasting, genuine friendships, so be it.   4. Mohabbatein © Prime Video Okay! Let's admit it. No boarding school in India looks like the one in Mohabbatein.
In fact, the Gurukul school in the movie is actually Longleat House, a stately home in the United Kingdom wala UK, not the Uttarakhand wala. Now, while the movie may have been a larger-than-life idea of a boarding school, it sure resonated with us. We loved it, and we will continue to do so because it had Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan in it, giving us a long, yet gripping story of how life can be at a boarding school. The movie perfectly highlighted how the camaraderie between school students develops when they are all thrown into a school far from home, where they are to do everything on their own while sharing the same bunk-beds. While some of it may be too Bollywoodish, but we sure loved how Mohabbatein showed us the challenges the trio of Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, and Jimmy Shergill had to overcome while chasing their high-school crushes. We may love it or make fun of it, we sure cannot deny that we'd have liked studying in the Gurukul where Shah Rukh Khan was our music teacher/love doctor.

Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, is loved by billions of people across the globe and all have different reasons for admiring the superstar. Some love his acting, while others idolise his persona. For Dinesh Karthik, it was SRK’s large-heartedness and caring nature that made him a big fan of the Bollywood legend. But just the fact that he was able to do that for me and he just completely won my heart over. I could do anything for him, he's a terrific human being," he added. © Reuters Shah Rukh Khan, despite being one of the biggest celebrities in the world, treats his players as his family members and Karthik was right in saying that not many franchise owners take care of their players in the same manner as KKR does.

Dhawan Points Out Stark Difference In Dravid, Shastri’s Personality & We Aren’t Surprised

As Shikhar Dhawan -led Team India gears up for the first ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo, all eyes will be on how the players cope with pressure in the absence of some of the senior cricketers like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami and others. The series will also mark the debut of Rahul Dravid as the head coach of the men’s senior cricket team and his performance will also be anlaysed, along with the players'. © Twitter BCCI Indian fans have long wanted to see Dravid as the head coach of the Indian team and this wish will come to life on Sunday.
Many think Dravid will definitely become Team India’s head coach in the future and people have already started drawing comparisons between him and current head coach Ravi Shastri, who is in England with the Test squad. 🇮🇳#TeamIndia pic.twitter.com/8dOk8uYM7W — BCCI (@BCCI) July 16, 2021 Dahwan, who has played a considerable amount of cricket under Ravi Shastri, was asked about the coaching styles of both the coaches during the pre-match press conference. "They (Dravid and Shastri) both have their own qualities and they both are very positive people. I have spent time with Ravi Bhai (Ravi Shastri) and their ways to motivate are different," Dhawan said ahead of the first ODI. pic.twitter.com/SxgM7HRavq — BCCI (@BCCI) July 17, 2021 "Ravi Bhai's energy is a bit strong, whereas Rahul Bhai (Rahul Dravid) is very calm, composed and strong as well, so everyone has their own way and I enjoy playing under both of them," he said, explaining how the two coaches are different. The southpaw described both of them as “positive people” who have their own set of qualities and have a different way of motivating the players. © Reuters He said that Shatsri’s energy is a bit strong, while Dravid is a very calm and composed human being who is not bogged down by situations so easily.
Going by Dhawan’s observation, it is clear why both Kohli and Shastri love each other so much. The skipper and the head coach feed off each other’s energy and believe in the same principle of playing fearless cricket. © Reuters The amount of success Shastri and Kohli have achieved working as a group across formats is just remarkable but their biggest criticism is that they haven’t won an ICC trophy together and fans have started losing their patience.
Amidst the talks of who should become India’s next coach, Dravid has a great opportunity in Sri Lanka and we would all love to see him succeed.

Britney Spears Bashes Father Jamie Spears & Sister Jamie Lynn In Expletive-Filled Instagram Post

Britney Spears has once again put out another furious Instagram post recently, calling out her father Jamie Spears and her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
The pop superstar also said that she wouldn’t be performing at her Las Vegas residency again as long as her father will be in charge of her conservatorship in the expletive-filled Instagram post. In a long list of grievances, she expressed herself saying that this conservatorship killed her dreams. Britney began by defending the dancing videos that she posted on her Instagram account explaining that her father Jamie is the only reason why her fans could only see her perform at home for now. She said, “Look I'm not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think!!!! I've done that for the past 13 years.  I'd much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in Vegas where some people were so far gone they couldn't even shake my hand and I ended up getting a contact high from weed all the time ... which I didn't mind but it would have been nice to be able to go to the mother f***ing spa.” View this post on Instagram She further added, “ And no I'm not gonna put on heavy makeup and try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years and begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans ... so I quit !!!! I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!! This conservatorship killed my dreams ... so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill ... yet people still try !!!! I didn't like the way the documentaries bring up humiliating moments from the past ... I'm way past all that and have been for a long time !!!! And for women who say it's weird the way I still have hope for fairy tales ... go f*** yourself.” Check out the post here- View this post on Instagram “As I said ... hope is all I have right now ... you're lucky I post anything at all ... if you don't like what you see, unfollow me !!! People try to kill hope because hope is one of the most vulnerable and fragile things there is !!!! I'm gonna go read a mother f***ing fairy tale now !!!! Psss if you don’t want to see my precious ass dancing in my living room or it’s not up to your standards ... go read a F***ing book !!!!!,” she added. Before this post, Britney had put out another post stating how the ‘closest people’ failed to help her in time of need.

Sonu Nigam Opposes 'Always Praising' Contestants On Reality Shows & We Completely Agree

Singer Sonu Nigam, who was a former judge on the show Indian Idol has said that always praising contestants on reality shows is counterproductive.
This comes after singer and radio host Amit Kumar had confessed that he was asked to praise contestants of Indian Idol 12. He had appeared as a special judge on the show for one episode. Sonu Nigam expressed how, if judges don’t give an honest feedback, the contestants won’t learn and they’d be just spoiling them. Sonu Nigam said in an interview, “As a judge, we are here to teach something to the contestants. We should give honest feedback to the participants. Always praising them won’t do any good. Humesha wah wah karoge toh kaise hoga (how will it work, if you always praise them)? We aren’t here to spoil these kids. Even the contestants won’t understand when they have performed well and when they haven’t if we keep praising them.” View this post on Instagram “You can’t make everything perfect. Thoda flaws hai toh bhi chalega (It’s okay even if there are some flaws). These flaws make the show interesting. Some contestants are born talented, some work hard and learn. A few instantly get success while a few of them shine later,” he said. Earlier, in a video, Sonu Nigam had commented on the Indian Idol 12 controversy and defended Amit Kumar. View this post on Instagram He'd said, “Seedhe aadmi hai, shareef aadmi hai, kuch bolte nahi hai, he is maintaining a dignified silence. Uska aap log undue advantage le rahe hai (He is a simple and honest man, and undue advantage is being taken of his dignified silence).” We have to agree that he makes a fair point here. What do you think of Sonu's opinion? Let us know in the comments section below!

Shivam Dube’s New Wedding Pics Are A Tight Slap To All Haters & Proves Hate Can Never Win

Shivam Dube's marriage with his longtime girlfriend Anjum Khan became the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons just because his partner belonged to a different religion. Some morons attacked the India all-rounder for following certain Islamic rituals during his wedding. We loved with a love which was more than love …
And now this is where our forever starts ️

Just Married …
16-07-2021 #togetherforever pic.twitter.com/2SlVDNeO2h — Shivam Dube (@IamShivamDube) July 16, 2021 The beauty of India lies in its diversity but this particular incident highlighted the huge religious divide that has cropped up in the society in the last few years. The steep rise of social media has made it extremely easy for people to spread hatred. Hiding behind a virtual face, they aren’t afraid of getting caught anymore and that perhaps is the biggest failure of technology. © Twitter Shivam Dube In fact, India is not the only country which is finding it difficult to deal with such incidents, even developed nations like the United States and United Kingdom are struggling to curb online hatred, against the people of colour.
© Twitter Shivam Dube But remember, Shivam Dube silenced all his critics and proved that love is way more powerful than most of us think. And that was the only way he could have tackled this hatred.
On Saturday evening, he posted a few images from his wedding ceremony wherein the couple was embracing the Hindu rituals with the same affection. जिंदगी तब खुबसूरत होती है …
जब जिंदगी को खुबसूरत बनाने वाली साथ हो …
16-07-2021 pic.twitter.com/crdj845Gma — Shivam Dube (@IamShivamDube) July 17, 2021 The latest pictures from Dube’s marriage was a tight slap on the face of all those trolls who didn’t think twice before passing their judgements and ridiculing a man for marrying outside his religion.  Dube’s love story presented the true picture of what an ideal society should look like, where people can love whoever they want and marry whoever they want, irrespective of their caste, colour, creed and religion. But it was sad that his love was met with so much hate and negativity. © Twitter Shivam Dube Dube and Anjum proved how love transcends all boundaries like caste, creed, colour, religion or ethnicity, and allows everyone to rise above these petty things, and put humanity above everything else.
In a multi-cultural society like ours, it’s high time that we stop peddling regressive ideas like dividing people on the basis of religion as that only puts us in a bad light as a society, and doesn't do much to improve our image internationally either.

These Wireless Earbuds Can Not Only Play Music But Also Track Runs & Fix A User’s Posture

Amazfit announced a new pair of truly wireless earbuds that not only offers noise-cancellation but other features that might interest fitness freaks. It’s called the Amazfit PowerBuds Pro that looks almost identical to the AirPods Pro, however it does come with added features that Apple currently does not offer on any of its audio products.  The PowerBuds Pro have a built-in health monitoring feature that is also rumoured to be on the AirPods Pro 2 whenever it launches. The Amazfit earbuds even have the ability to detect the angle of your cervical spine and alert you if your posture is incorrect.  © Amazfit The previous PowerBuds Pro iteration already had an integrated heart rate monitor, however the 2021 version takes it a step further. The 2021 PowerBuds Pro comes with an accelerometer which means users can track speed, time, distance and calorie burn rate on runs and even on bikes. This essentially removes the need to have a smartphone or even a fitness tracker with you while working out. You can simply use these earbuds and have everything tracked for you without having an additional piece of tech on you.
The accelerometer also detects the angle of your spine which, in turn, reflects in the companion app as well. The app will then instruct you to adjust to a more upright position. The earbuds also notify you with an audio reminder if you’ve been sitting still for more than 40 minutes. This audio cue is a reminder to move your neck to prevent stiffness.  © Amazfit Having health monitoring built-in to the PowerBuds Pro makes it stand out from the rest of the alternatives. It’s clear that this might be the future of fitness tracking especially since even Apple is rumoured to support some form of health monitoring on the AirPods Pro 2. However, Apple’s solution might be very different from Amazfit as it might work in cohesion with the iPhone and the Apple Watch for more accurate results.
© Amazfit However, the AirPods Pro 2 are expected to launch sometime in 2022 but Amazfit’s PowerBuds Pro are available now. The PowerBuds Pro could be available in India sooner than we think and it costs $149.99 (roughly Rs. 11,100). Apart from the fitness features, the earbuds are IP55 rated, offer up to 30 hours of battery backup and also support digital voice assistants. The PowerBuds Pro are compatible with both iOS and Android devices and have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

‘Need To Get Rid Of This Obsession,’ Gambhir Blasts Indian Mentality Of Living In The Past

Whenever we talk about the T20 World Cup, the first thing that comes to our mind is MS Dhoni lifting the trophy after beating arch-rivals Pakistan in 2007. That was the inaugural edition of the showpiece tournament and a young Indian team, led by an inexperienced skipper went all the way to make the nation proud when nobody expected them to. © Reuters Since then, several editions have passed but India is yet to repeat the same magic, despite being home to the best T20 league in the world and having a large group of players who can walk into any T20 side in the world.
© Reuters Former Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir, who was the top-scorer in the 2007 final, blasted the Indian mentality of cherishing the past way too much. Saying that it was nice to be part of a World Cup-winning side, Gambhir pointed out that 13 years have gone by and we’re still obsessing about our past achievements rather than thinking about the future.
The cricketer-turned-politician opined that it was time that we moved on from the past and started looking at the future. © Reuters “It was special (being a part of the 2007 T20 World Cup squad), but I have forgotten about it. To be honest, India needs to move on from that. 2007, it’s what, more than 13 years ago and I think we need to get rid of this obsession of 2007 and 2011," Gambhir said on Star Sports.
Robin Uthappa, another player who was part of the 2007 World T20 squad, echoed Gambhir’s thoughts and said the Indian team has already proven that they have what it takes to bring the trophy home. © Reuters “Of course, for me personally, it’s a special moment, but I tend to agree with Gautam Gambhir. Why It’s Okay If You’re Not Having A Dramatic Body Transformation During The Pandemic

Let’s Start With A Little Background, Shall We?
Weight loss and I…oh, boy, where do I even begin? It’s been an extreme push and pull relationship since I was 17-years-old and was first diagnosed with severe Hypothyroidism. To make things even worse, I share an intense, passionate and all-consuming relationship with food…which has not always worked out well for me. © Unsplash I have seesawed between fat, skinny, chubby, skinny fat, obese, thin, ‘athletic’ and overweight for almost 15 years now. Obviously, it’s not healthy, but now, you can understand why weight and I have been in such a long and turbulent relationship.
My childhood was all about sports. Ha! Surprised? Went like ‘wtf’? Well, it’s true. I am talking National level stuff here. I was in shape. Obsessed with physical activity, but all of that ended when I was diagnosed and I sacrificed sports for a ‘career’. Hypothyroidism entered my life and told me straight to my face: “Sweety, I am going to make your life miserable from now on. Try and lose all the weight you want, I won’t let that happen!” Since then, it’s been all about eating less, eating right, working out, moving more, staying healthy…concepts that were totally alien to me while I was growing up and was in the best shape of my life. When Sh*t Hit The Fan2020 began on a fantastic note for me. I just turned 30 and was already super motivated AF to drop some major kilos. I was a work-in-progress at a fitness centre and was freaking killing it there. My clothes were becoming loose. I was feeling attractive. I was getting compliments. I was on top of the damn world. Life was good. © Unsplash March arrived and that’s when all my progress went to sh*t.
With the Coronavirus global pandemic slowly progressing from a ‘concern’ to an actual ‘oh-my-God-is-this-really-happening’ development, my only source of workout came to a screeching halt. And initially, I took it as a positive thing. I mean, more time at home means more time to work out, right? Well, it was not the case for me. I found myself more and more dead tired by the end of work by each passing day, and more stressed. Obviously, I could not even step out for a run, which meant I needed to start ‘home workouts’ and I have always hated doing that with a burning passion. Working out for me means literally stepping out. I need to leave my home to exercise. Simple. © Unsplash However, as the kilos kept piling up, no matter how less I ate or how ‘clean’ my diet was, the internet was being flooded with incredible stories of how people had dramatically transformed their bodies in just 3 months or 6 months.
Super obese people were now sporting abs, women who were struggling with post-pregnancy weight were looking like freaking supermodels. The one thing all these stories had in common was that they were madly working out on a daily basis. I am talking 1-2 hours of cardio and weight and yoga and anything other workout you can think out. Now, as I said before, working out in my room was the one thing I hated the most, but I started feeling like I had no other choice. Everyone was doing it, why was I finding it so difficult. With that in mind, I started the in-my-room exercises…and I had never felt worse in my life. © Unsplash I missed the fresh air of my daily walks, I freaking missed the people at my gym as we danced together in a sweaty, musical ritual. And by the end of 3 months, I had lost a meagre 4 kilos…which made me almost smash everything in my room.
The ‘AHA’ Moment That Made Me See Things In A New LightWith a year having gone into the pandemic and my weight trying to give competition to that of a Panda, I tortured myself every day watching these ‘weight loss stories and screamed from the inside that I was not able to do that despite all my efforts.  Somehow, I had convinced myself that if I do not lose weight like others during the pandemic, I was a loser and that I could not do anything else. Suddenly, all my past achievements in life did not matter. I also started associating my worth to the numbers dropping on the scale. Try and imagine how frustrating I must have felt to watch the kilos pile up despite eating clean, despite working out. Yes, my job required me to stay pretty much chained to the computer all day, and that prevented me from working on my NEAT, but I was still doing everything right. © Unsplash One day, around 4 am, as I was staring at my burning vanilla-scented candle and trying to win my war with insomnia, I started wondering if I should just stop. Stop with the fruits and veg, stop running like a headless chicken on my rooftop, stop doing endless situps and planks and just accept my fate of turning into a continent…when something hit me like a truck.
I.Was.Stressed.From.Trying.To.Lose.Weight. A process that's supposed to make you feel better, was actually sucking all the joy and happiness from my life! No wonder I was miserable even though I had lost 10 kilos in 5 months. Sure the weight was coming down even though at the speed of a snail, but what was I losing in the process? I was angrier than ever, my hair was literally turning grey, I starting getting acne like crazy, I was tensed all the time, my endless patience was dwindling, I was forcing myself to be happy (something that came so naturally to me) © Unsplash I realized that one person’s weight loss DOES NOT have to be my story. Another person’s transformation DOES NOT have to be my goal. What will happen if I don’t lose all that weight in a limited time? Exactly, nothing! Will my family kick me out? No. Will I lose my job? No. Will my friends abandon me? No way. So? Why was I killing myself over not being able to lose 20 kilos in 3 months like so many others? Why couldn’t I be happy with my progress, no matter how small it was?
Finally…When I Gave Myself Priority Over My WeightI started praising myself for my tiny but significant gains. I told myself that I was losing weight slowly despite a severe medical condition and a sedentary job, and that was freaking amazing! I assured myself that I was not unhealthy and was not killing myself if I ate cake or a damn lasagna once in a while. I accepted that my body was different…my journey was different…I was different from all those people who were going viral for their transformations, and that I was doing nothing wrong. © Unsplash Slowly, but surely, peace started resurfacing back in my head. I stopped plotting the death of the universe. I stopped seeing food as my mortal enemy. I continued doing what I was doing with the little workouts, and minus the stress and all that negativity I had created…I realized I was actually killing it!
Once I figured out that it was not some race to lose weight, the pressure just died, and I was proud of my efforts. And right now, even though I am still not ‘thin’ yet. And am still waiting for the rains to stop and the situation outside to ease up so I can run again, I am finally at peace with my journey. Because I have nothing to prove to anyone, and being healthy, both physically and mentally, is more important to me right now in this pandemic. © Unsplash Honestly, guys, look at what is happening outside. We are the privileged few. While people are dying and families are being torn apart with grief because of Covid, some of us are still healthy surrounded by our precious family in our homes, safe and happy. Instead of coming down on ourselves just because of that number on the weighing machine, how about we thank God to be alive and healthy right now?
The weight will drop, eventually, but it’s not worth losing your mental peace over it. I paid a price to come to that life-altering realisation...but you don't have to.

‘Bahut Bade Wala Hai Tu,’ When Suresh Raina’s Excessive Demands Left MS Dhoni Annoyed

MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina have spent majority of their time playing alongside each other -- be it the Indian team or the Indian Premier League. The bond that they share is hard to find in any other pair in world cricket because it's not often that you see a player following in the footsteps of his mentor and announcing his retirement on the very same day. Having spent so much time together, it was only normal that both of them had plenty to share about their on-field experiences. Dhoni played the majority of his cricket as the skipper of the Indian team, hence was in the habit of getting things done as per his liking. © Reuters Back in 2018, the Indian team had travelled to Ireland and Dhoni was on the bench and had to perform the duties of the 12th man and carry drinks to the ground. Raina knew he wouldn’t get the same opportunity ever again and he made full use of that, so much so that Dhoni was left annoyed.
"We had gone to Ireland in 2018, and enjoyed ourselves there after the matches. Dhoni bhai carried drinks for me there," Raina said on ‘22 Yarns Podcast’. Recalling the incident, Raina said he was batting with KL Rahul and both of them had scored fifties. The best thing about being good mates is that you know each other really well and the same was the case with Dhoni, who knew Raina would ask for gloves and bats and that’s why he carried the whole kit bag so that he wouldn't have to run around again. © Reuters Handing Raina his kit bag, Dhoni told the southpaw to take whatever he had to as he wouldn’t come out in the cold again.
"I remember one moment. Dhoni bhai thought that I often ask a lot for gloves and bats while batting, so he brought the whole kit bag to the ground and said: 'Take whatever you want, don't call me again'. I think I was batting alongside Rahul and we both had hit fifties. He (Dhoni) said 'I won't come again, it's very cold out here'. (chuckles)," he added. © Reuters But Raina was in no mood to let the opportunity go this easily and asked Dhoni to bring his grip as well which annoyed the Ranchi-born cricketer to the core. And we can’t blame Raina for that, after all, who doesn’t like pulling his best friend's legs.
"I still said, 'Do one thing, bring a grip as well'. And he replied: 'Bohot bade waala hai tu, tu rukja, paani pi, mai leke aata hu.' So it was that kind of fun. I thought to myself that I'll take full revenge that day," said Raina, who is the third-highest scorer in IPL history. © Twitter/Chennai Super Kings Having retired from international cricket, both players are still active in the IPL and will be back in action when the IPL 2021 resumes in the United Arab Emirates in September.

Bharti Singh Faced Extreme Poverty In Her Childhood & Her Life-Story Is An Inspiration

Comedian Bharti Singh may have managed to make it big in life, but she's had to overcome very difficult times while growing up. Bharti Singh grew up in extreme poverty and elaborating on the same, she said that at times there wasn’t any food for them to eat.
Recently, in an interaction with Maniesh Paul for his podcast, she spoke about how she grew up in poverty and how her family is still not accustomed to a lavish lifestyle. View this post on Instagram Bharti said that her brother worked at a shop, her sister and mother worked in a factory where they sewed blankets. She also said that her mother cooked at other’s homes. Her sister and mother would at times work at their home as well and seeing all the huge blankets, Bharti didn’t feel like staying at home.
She said, “Ghar jaane ka mann nahi karta tha (I didn’t feel like going home). I would stay in college with my friends, and eat at the hostel. I knew once I go back, I would have to face poverty. Live in that dim light.” She added, “We would make black tea and eat with parathas. Or eat roti and salt.”
Bharti said that her mother used to make dupattas for Mata Rani (decorative clothes for idols), and so there was the constant sound of a sewing machine at home. She said that the sound still haunts her on sets in costume rooms.   “I have lived in that noise for 21 years. I don’t want to ever go back there. I don’t have very big dreams but I keep praying to God that I am able to sustain what I have. We have eaten salt and roti but now we have dal, sabzi and roti. I just hope my family always has at least dal to eat. I will never want to face the situation or have my family go through that,” she told Maniesh. View this post on Instagram She also said that when she bought an Audi Q5, her mother was angry, as she said that Innova had a bigger boot and if it rained, it will spoil the seats of the Audi because it has a sunroof. Now, Bharti Singh is extremely successful and makes all of us laugh through her jokes.

Fans Feel Cheated After ICC Messes Up Groups For T20 World Cup & They Aren’t Wrong

As the International Cricket Council announced the groups for the T20 World Cup on Friday, the biggest talking point was India and Pakistan being pooled in the same group. Indian cricket fans started celebrating soon and it was pretty much expected, given the rivalry between the two countries. 🤩 Some mouth-watering match-ups in the Super 12 stage of the ICC Men's #T20WorldCup 2021

Which clash are you most looking forward to?

https://t.co/Z87ksC0dPk pic.twitter.com/7aLdpZYMtJ — T20 World Cup (@T20WorldCup) July 16, 2021 What was not expected, however, was the fact that besides the T20 World Cup, people started talking about the Asia Cup and soon it became a trending keyword on the micro-blogging site.
Analyse the two groups carefully and you will understand the reason why people were all of a sudden interested in the Asia Cup -- which as the name suggests is a multi-nation event featuring only the Asian teams. © Twitter While announcing the group, the ICC pooled three Asian countries India, Pakistan and Afghanistan in Group 2. But how does the Asia Cup come into the picture, you ask?
We all know that this year’s tournament will be played in two rounds -- Round 1 and Super 12.  The Round 1, which is sort of a qualifying round for the main event, will feature two Asian teams Sri Lanka and Bangladesh competing in different groups. The Men's #T20WorldCup 2021 groups are out

The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super 12.

Who are your picks?

https://t.co/T9510AGiDS pic.twitter.com/GoJ2QcctXE — T20 World Cup (@T20WorldCup) July 16, 2021 Apart from the eight countries which have earned automatic qualification, four teams from the qualifying Round 1 will reach the Super 12 stage.  Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are placed in Group A and B respectively and there is a possibility that both teams might end up in Group 2, which already has three other Asian countries India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.  © Reuters Placed alongside Scotland, Papua New Guinea and Oman, Bangladesh are expected to win their Group B and looking at Sri Lanka’s current form and Ireland’s recent heroics against South Africa in a 50-over game, there is every chance that they might end up as the runners-up.
There are so many catches to it but if it goes this way, we’ll be watching a mini Asia Cup within the T20 World Cup.  © Reuters The 2021 Asia Cup was postponed after India reached the World Test Championship final and there was no other window left to conduct the tournament. But now that we might see it happening, albeit unintentionally, fans sarcastically praised the world body for accommodating both the tournaments in one event.
Some suggested that the winner of Group 2 should be crowned the Asian champions, while others felt cheated because they prepared for a world event but got a mini Asia Cup instead.  If Bangladesh finishes on top in Group B and Sri Lanka second in Group A, Group 2 in Super 12 will be an Asia Cup with NZ also participating. https://t.co/0bmRtfny94 — Deepu Narayanan (@deeputalks) July 16, 2021Asia cup latest version is here ...#T20worldcup pic.twitter.com/6md5UDWBJ9 — Raunit Ranjan (@RaunitRanjan2) July 16, 2021Nice of ICC to even organise an Asia Cup within the WT20. — Clive (@_vanillawallah) July 16, 2021ICC has decided to conduct a Mini Asia Cup in Group 2 during the T20 World Cup. — Sameer Allana (@HitmanCricket) July 16, 2021Clever stuff from ICC

It is mini Asia Cup in T20 World Cup

Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, NZ in same group

He'd said, “His emotional, mental and spiritual journey attracted me to the character. Boxing is very exciting and makes for great viewing in movies. I always have been a fan of boxing films. Beyond that, there has to be substance and the drama has to be correct. In this film, the relationship that Aziz Ali has with Paresh Ji or Mrunal’s character is something that managed to strike a chord with me. If you ask me personally, the growth of Aziz Ali and his coach's character is the heart and soul of the film. The journey of these two characters defines Toofan. This is what excited me.”
