Football is a sport where scoring goals is probably the most important thing to decide the fate of a game. From free-kick screamers, powerful headers to clinical finishes, footballers have developed a knack for finding the back of the net with impeccable technique. But, scoring a goal from a corner kick remains an art only a handful of footballers have managed to master over the years.

The likes of David Beckham and Thierry Henry did it with relative ease in the old days. And, new-age greats like Toni Kroos and Angel di Maria continue to do so in the modern era of the sport. While we continue to celebrate these stars for their unmatched skills, a 10-year-old boy from Kerala appears to have captured the imagination of football fans.

Dani PK is not the kind of name that comes to mind when we talk about scoring a goal from the corner kick. And, for a kid who is still in the fifth grade, no one really expected this young gun to pull off a Beckham on the field. Such has been the precision and skills of this young lad that it didn't just allow his team to register a win, but also saw him becoming a huge hit on social media.

Superb ..????...

Representing Presentation School of Kerala's Kozhikode in the final of the All Kerala Kids Football tournament at Meenangadi in the Wayanad district, young Dani produced a moment of brilliance after beating the goalkeeper with his corner kick with pinpoint accuracy. The video of his unbelievable goal was shared by former Indian football team captain IM Vijayan on Twitter and has since gone viral.

The tournament final also saw Dani, an ardent Barcelona fan, notching up a hat-trick for his school. He finished the tournament with a staggering 13 goals to his name that further saw him bagging the 'Player of the Tournament' award.

What a talent ????????

Talking about the young lad's performance, Dani's father revealed his son's love for football and Spanish club Barcelona. "Football is his favourite sport. He loves it so much that no matter how many footballs we buy him, he always asks for another,â Daniâs father Abu Hashim told 'The Week'.

This was such a superb kick. Indians certainly do not care about football. This could too bring us laurels.

âDani swears by Barcelona. So, no prizes for guessing who his footballing idol is,â he added while revealing that his son now wants to visit Spain during his vacation next year to meet his idol, Lionel Messi.

Having found a special place in the hearts of football fans, Dani will also be seen starring in a Malayalam movie Aanaparambile World Cup - a football-based fantasy drama narrated through the characters of seven children.
