China is prominently known for its bullet trains. The bullet network in China is so vast that it'll leave you in awe because it's crazy how far behind other countries really are. And now, China is also home to the world's fastest driverless bullet train.
Yes, the new driverless bullet train connecting the Chinese cities of Beijing and Zhangjiakou is capable of reaching a jaw-dropping top speed of up to 217mph which is around 350 km/h. With that, it's the world's fastest driverless bullet train in operation in the world right now.

The route drastically reduces the travel time from the capital city to the main skiing event area from three hours to less than one. Heck, some of them even complete the 108-mile journey in just 45 minutes, which is ridiculously fast.
The trains are said to start and stop at various stations automatically depending on the schedule. Although it's a fully autonomous train, there'll be a monitoring attendant in the train in case of an emergency. The entire project took four years to complete and has a total of 10 stations.
The best part about the train, besides its speed, of course, is its features that are available on-board. It comes with storage areas for winter sports equipment, wireless chargers, and the seats are fitted with 5G-enabled touchscreen control panels. It also has real-time safety sensors on-board because that's important for a train travelling at such high speeds.

Also, there'll be facial recognition tech and robots to assist passengers with boarding, directions, check-in, baggage, and more at the stations. If that's not cool enough for you, then we don't know what is!
