Kangana's Look For Jayalalithaa's Biopic 'Thalaivi' Is Out & It's Making People Uncomfortable
When the biopic on celebrated actress and a beloved politician Jayalalithaa was announced, people had super high hopes from Kangana Ranaut being roped in to play the lead.
Bollywood's 'Queen' can do justice to any role you give her and hence, when the teaser released last night, everyone was pretty much excited.
One shouldn't judge a book by its cover, right? However, one minute and 32 seconds of sneak peek at Thalaivi had the fans convinced that the whole garb is not as realistic as they expected.
Kangana's look has now become the center of all memes and jokes on the internet.
My ideas execution
In my mind in reality#Thalaivi pic.twitter.com/JURXphY7iF
In the genre of biopics, some films have left a tremendous mark on the viewers such as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and the likes. But critics feel that some biopics make a caricature out of a person, instead of celebrating them.
First Shri Narendra ji modi biopic was destroyed by the cheap tacky makeup, now iconic #Jayalalitha ji biopic would see the same fate. Feeling bad for such iconic leaders.. #Thalaivi pic.twitter.com/ojxh7XTjf2

Even #KamalHaasan could have been better choice for #Thalaivi #KanganaRanaut is loooking like some one blew air in annabelle dollð

However, let's not discount it just yet. Some of us have full faith in the power of Kangana's acting skills.
I think no one else would have suited the role of Jayalalitha other than Kangana.Looks like it is tailor made for Kangana. Can't wait to watch the movie.#Thalaivi @KanganaTeam pic.twitter.com/WbrTlG2V30
