It was Guru Nanak Dev's 550th birth anniversary yesterday and people across the country were celebrating it with fervour and joy. President Ram Nath Kovind too attended the celebrations that were held in Sultanpur Lodhi and highlighted the contributions made by the Sikh faith founder for the welfare of the society. He even paid respect at the historic Gurdwara Ber Sahib.

To make this day more special, drones were used to form 'Ik Onkar' on the sky at night in Sultanpur Lodhi and honestly, it was the most beautiful sight to watch. 'Ik Onkar' is the holy symbol that represents the one supreme reality and is a central tenet of Sikh religious philosophy, and the opening words of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
