It's been a couple of days since the world celebrated the 31st birthday of the Indian cricket captain, Virat Kohli. While the cricketer is taking time off cricket and is currently on a private vacation in Bhutan with wife Anushka Sharma, the world came together to wish him well for the years to come.

However, it was Yuvraj Singh's message that stuck in Kohli's heart.

Yeh bhi din they ! Aur ek aaj ka din hai ! Jahan bhi ho khush raho , God bless you always ! Happy birthday @imVkohli pic.twitter.com/kIuqtCwXIl

“Yeh bhi din they ! Aur ek aaj ka din hai ! Jahan bhi ho khush raho , God bless you always,” wrote the recently-retired cricketer in his tweet to Kohli.

“Uparwaale ke diye sab din mehr hain paji. Rab rakha. Lots of love to you always,” responded the skipper.

Both Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh have played very important roles in making the Men in Blue the success they are today. Representing their country in numerous international series and major ICC tournaments, the two batsmen have also had the opportunity to lift the World Cup trophy in 2011.

The duo also had the opportunity to play together for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014 but the Kingfisher Employee Union wrote Singh a letter, requesting him to not play for the franchise.

Amidst all the travelling and sharing the dressing rooms with each other, Kohli found not only an idol but also a great friend in Yuvraj Singh and has shown unconditioned respect and love for the Chandigarh-born cricketer.

“Congratulations on a wonderful career playing for the country paji. You gave us so many memories and victories and I wish you the best for life and everything ahead. Absolute champion,” Kohli had led tributes for Yuvi when the cricketer had decided to hang his gloves earlier this year.

Eagerly waiting for Kohli to respond to Singh's birthday wish, the fans of the power duo and that of the Indian cricket team showed their love online:

Who else was eagerly waiting for Kohli's reply on this particular tweet?
