It was Bollywood's King Khan, that is Shah Rukh Khan's 54th birthday yesterday. People, not just across the country, but the whole world, were celebrating his birthday and there's no exaggeration here.

But, amongst all the wishes and messages pouring in, there was one that touched millions of hearts, including SRK's. No, we're not talking about Salman Khan singing a birthday song for him. It's Dubai's Burj Khalifa that paid the perfect tribute to Shah Rukh Khan by lighting up with his name and an amazing fountain show.

The world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa lit up with the actor's name and the message "Happy Birthday to the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan" with 'Dhoom Taana' from 'Om Shanti Om' playing in the background.

Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to thank Burj Khalifa for this honour and for making him the "tallest" he's ever been. He wrote, "To my brother, the awesomely cool Mr. #MohamedAlabbar and @burjkhalifa @emaardubai. Thanks for making me shine so bright. Your love and kindness is unsurpassable. Wow! This is really the Tallest I have ever been. Love u Dubai. It's my birthday and I'm the guest!"
