The final season of 'Game Of Thrones' is coming sooner than we thought after a very tedious and a long wait. While we sure will miss the action and the nail-biting anticipation we have been experiencing through the years, let's look back at the biggest betrayals we witnessed during the course of these seven seasons, which basically just left us shook:

1. The Red Wedding-  Horrific, aesthetically very disturbing and the fact that it was a wedding that turned gory left us gasping for breath.

2. Eddard Stark- Ironically enough, the season began with the Stark patriarch beheading someone and later getting the same fate for himself. It was heartbreaking to see the helpless father being beheaded by the family he thought was his ally.

3. Baelish & Sansa- While Karma came calling for Baelish correctly by the hands of Sansa herself, it was pretty sad when he promises to shield the lost girl and take her home safely but has his own ulterior motives behind the help.

4. Jon Snow And Night Watch- When Olly pushed Jon to his fate, the viewers felt the blow to their heart as well. The finale of season 5 broke hearts of all GOT lovers.

5. Stannis  & Shireen – This betrayal was a low blow, even by GOT standards, as it was darker than we could actually think. Stannis agrees to oblige Mellisandre's wish for a sacrifice and his selfishness for his rule overcomes his love for his own daughter. Very hard to witness this one.

6. Theon & The Starks – When Balon is successful in pitting Theon against Robb, there is no looking back for this traitor. His insecurity takes over the better side of him and you kind of want to just punch him in the face at times.

7.  Shae & Tyrion Lannister- The man who claims to know things and just drink, never saw the betrayal coming from the one woman he loved the most in the world. Shae's ending was kind of fitting, wasn't it?

8. Cersei & The High Sparrow- The High Sparrow lures her into trusting her, but the relationship leads to her own arrest. However, you never mess with this queen. The fate which followed her enemies at High Septon was a visual treat for a Cersei but a complete shocker for us.
