That SRK has a special appearance in Karan Johar’s latest, much-controversial ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ was already one of the talking points of the film. It wasn’t a surprise to see diehard SRK fans flocking the theatres in huge numbers across the country. And we kinda understand the nation’s obsession with him, given his incredible contribution to Indian cinema over the years.
But a bunch of jerks took that obsession to a hazardous level with this shameful incident. During a screening of the film in a theatre in Malegoan, Maharashtra, some SRK fans went so berserk at his cameo, they burst firecrackers. INSIDE THE FRIKKIN’ THEATRE. Do you know what that means? Putting everyone else’s life in the theatre at risk. Given the amount of electrical equipment present inside a movie theatre, a tiny spark could have resulted into the whole theatre catching fire. And we’re talking about firecrackers here. Check out this video.October 28, 2016
This is not just dangerous, it is downright unacceptable. How did the security let people pass through with the firecrackers? Why haven’t they been punished yet?
Actor Siddharth took to Twitter to express his shock and ridicule at this incident.
Deeply disturbing. Shameful incident. What is the law doing about it? Scary! https://t.co/iOig5XbPJ6— Siddharth (@Actor_Siddharth) October 31, 2016
We couldn’t agree more. This hooliganism in the name of fandom is horrifying.
