People Have The Best Response For What They Love About Their Jobs & It Made Us Feel Grateful

What makes our job great isn’t simply the paycheck it offers. Yes, it is one of the top three factors, but it’s almost never the sole reason why our work excites us. Instead, what sets our job apart from others in our friend circle depends on the added advantages we get from being a part of an organisation we belong to.

There’s a reason why one of the top questions candidates ask their interviewers is related to ‘new work opportunities’ they are likely to get as a part of the team? Promising work opportunities and the possibility of being able to add new skills to our repertoire often tends to play a far greater role in influencing an individual’s decision to join a company.

Because while a great paycheck can only add to our bank balance, only employee-friendly policies guarantee work satisfaction and motivation or even happiness and peace of mind. But let’s be honest, all of that is easier said than done, and getting that perfect blend is mostly a far-fetched dream.

So when LinkedIN asked people on Twitter what was their favourite thing about their job, it was a complete mixed bag and still relatable.

Larger chunk of my team(including me) work for 4 days and we get the next 4 days off. + Pandemic or No Pandemic, we do WFH. Two crucial aspects! 🙂

The fact that an employee with 10-years experience and 2-years experience gets treated equally. They value my opinion as much as their 10-year-old employee. :')

Often we tend to take our job for granted, but it is only during moments like this that we are forced to think of all the perks and advantages our jobs provide us with. That’s a lot to be grateful for, right?
