First salaries are always of paramount importance and most of us remember our first salaries as that’s the first time we ever do something on our own. Everyone starts from somewhere and even if the amount is extremely small, it changes the course of our life and gives us the biggest sense of growing up. 

However, sharing first salaries recently became a trend on Twitter and people started sharing their first salaries. From journalists to film directors to movie stars, everyone started from somewhere and followed the trend along with sharing their first salaries on Twitter. 

After all, everyone remembers their ‘firsts’! 

So, here’s how actors did odd jobs for making money and now after years, they have come a long way. 

Fukrey actor Pulkit Samrat took to Twitter and wrote, “First Salary- ₹ 1500 Age- 16, Selling petro cards at gas stations.”

Indian film director and producer, Anubhav Sinha earned only Rs 80 with his first job and now he has given us films like Mulk, Thappad, and Article 15.

Actress Sayani Gupta also shared that she was in Sales and Marketing while her first salary was Rs 12,500.

Ali Fazal who won our hearts by playing the role of Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur revealed that he worked at a call center to pay his college fees.

DJ Paroma took to Twitter revealing her first salary was Rs.30,000 when she was 18years. She wrote, “As a Cabin crew, which then grew to about a lac a month and then dropped to Rs.4,000 at the age of 23 when I started my career as a DJ.”

Actor Sharad Kelkar revealed that he earned Rs 2500 bucks as a gym instructor.

Recently, Indian film director, Hansal Mehta who is the director of Scam 1992, Citylights, Omerta, and Chhalaang revealed that he was a salesperson when he was 16 years old and earned Rs 450.
