For a team that has often been labelled as underachievers over the years, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) appear to be in a class of their own this season. The Virat Kohli-led side hasn't looked so perfect, especially when it comes to the team balance, in recent years. And, the results are quite visible.

Currently placed third in the points table, The Kohli brigade has won five out the eight games they have played so far in the tournament. Whether it's their batting or bowling, RCB look in prime form with the players stepping up in crunch situations.

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) might have broken their two-match winning run following an eight-wicket win last night, but it hasn't dampened the spirit in the RCB camp.

A hilarious tweet from star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is a reflection of the mood in the RCB dressing room. The leg-spinner, as always, has been pivotal to RCB's success this season. The right-arm bowler is currently the leading wicket-taker for RCB with 11 wickets to his name in eight matches so far.

With both Chahal and RCB in good touch, the spinner put up a light-hearted post on Twitter.

Timon & pumbaa reunites #hakunamatata 🤜🤛

Taking to Twitter, Chahal shared a picture of himself alongside Chris Gayle who made his IPL 2020 debut against Bangalore.

The RCB spinner compared their photo with a picture featuring iconic animated cartoon characters from Lion King 'Timon & Pumbaa'. "Timon & pumbaa reunites #hakunamatata," Chahal captioned the post.

Both Chahal and Gayle have shared a good rapport over the years. They have often seen sharing light-hearted moments in the past.

Gayle was part of the RCB unit from 2011 till 2017. He was contracted by Punjab after RCB decided against retaining him ahead of the 2018 Auction.

So far, as it turned out in last night's game, RCB's loss has been Punjab's gain.
