Ah, what a day it is to celebrate the engineers of the world. Engineer's Day is celebrated in India on Sept 15 to mark the birthday of Sir Visvesvaraya, the engineering pioneer, and Bharat Ratna recipient for his unparalleled contribution to the building of India.
Of course, it's one of the most important jobs and literally everything in the world would fall apart without engineers, but we also know that they are some of the easiest targets to poke fun at, just because of how hard the field is.
From self-deprecating jokes and memes to just straight-up crying about engineering, engineers have their own way of celebrating the day and it's hilarious.September 15, 2020
There has never been a truer statement.
Happy #EngineersDay to all the actors, sportspersons, musicians, youtubers, stand-up comedians, authors, artists and some engineers too.— Sagar (@sagarcasm) September 15, 2020

Jokes aside, there are important topics to be discussed as well.
We are wishing each other Happy ##EngineersDay in a country where the status of an engineer has been reduced to that of a clerk.
If you tell someone you are a Non-IIT engineer the other person looks at you with pity rather than respect.
