After a series of blows, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have hit the ground running in a bid to prepare themselves for the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The 'Yellow Brigade' has been training at the ICC Academy in Dubai where they continue to play practice matches to test their squad.

For a team which will begin its campaign against defending champions Mumbai Indians in the tournament opener on 19th September, Chennai are leaving no stone unturned as they aim to challenge Rohit Sharma & Co for the title this season.

A few days back, MS Dhoni was seen in full groove as he hammered the bowlers all around the park, including a massive six, during a practice match.

While the CSK stars have been busy sweating it out in Dubai, their respective families have been missing them back home. In their recent practice match, Sakshi Dhoni was seen gatecrashing Chennai's training session just to get a glimpse of her husband who's busy rallying his troops for IPL 2020.

Streaming their practice matches on social media, Chennai are keeping their fans apprised on their activities. In their recent practice game, CSK Team Manager Russell Radhakrishnan was handed the responsibility of streaming the contest live on Instagram through, what seemed like, a mobile phone.

The live stream of the match garnered all sorts of responses from fans on social media. While many wished Dhoni-led brigade all the luck for the tournament, Sakshi came up with a special request.

The better half of Chennai's iconic captain was seen commenting on the live stream, urging Russell to pan the camera towards Dhoni so that she could get a glimpse of him.

Arriving in Dubai on 21st August, Chennai immediately found themselves in hot waters as members of their team and staff tested positive for Coronavirus. A day later, Chennai were handed another blow after star batsman Suresh Raina, amid rumours of a rift with CSK management, decided to withdraw himself from IPL 2020 season.

Following in Raina's footsteps, Harbhajan Singh, too, announced that he won't play this season.
