Tobey Maguire Nailed The Iconic Lunch Tray Scene In Spider-Man Without Any CGI & Were Stunned

It's a fact that no superhero can ever be made without CGI and special effects, quite understandably. But, sometimes you learn that a few scenes, that actually look like it took a lot of editing and effects to happen, were achieved by the actors on their own.
Even though it's not Thursday, we still have a throwback and it's about the OG Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire.
Remember this little scene? He manages to hold Kristen Dunst with one hand while also catching everything in her lunch tray after its contents go flying in the air.
Looks almost impossible to do for real, right? Well, it actually almost was, as Tobey did manage to do this on his own, just took a lot of tries, but that's okay.
It's surprising that it's not CGI like almost the rest of the movie, but Tobey did do this 'stunt' on his own and it only took him 156 tries. Honestly, not that bad.
Talking about the scene, special effects artist John Dykstra said, "This gag when he catches all this stuff, he actually did that⦠take 156!"
Even Kristen Dunst revealed what the trick actually was - "No CGI, thatâs all Tobey, they put sticky glue stuff to stick his hand to the tray."
Yes, this is old news, but there still might be people who didn't know this, so why not share such an interesting movie fact?

2020 OnePlus Smartphones Will Probably Have Wireless Charging Thanks To A Massive Hint

OnePlus smartphones are slowly becoming the premium Android smartphone that everybody loves. While OnePlus smartphones have almost all the bells and whistles of a premium smartphone, it still lacks one major feature that is present on almost every flagship device.
Wireless charging on OnePlus smartphones has always been the most requested feature by fans and critics alike and it seems like the Chinese company is finally looking to fulfil those requests.
© Youtube/Gheorghe Daniel In a previous rumour, OnePlus 8 Pro was rumoured to feature the said feature, however, the company may have just dropped a huge hint this week.
OnePlus joined the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), the standard that regulates Qi wireless charging used by smartphones. MobileScout spotted OnePlus joining the consortium and it means that OnePlus is definitely looking to include wireless charging on future devices.  © Samsung While wireless charging is a slower method to charge smartphones but is very convenient. Personally, I use it on the nightstand for charging my iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Galaxy Note 10+ overnight.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has previously been unsure about wireless charging as it is too slow, however, when charging overnight, we really donât need those faster-charging speeds.  © BCCL However, OnePlus joining the Wireless Power Consortium only reassures the possibility that the OnePlus 8 Pro could, in fact, come with the feature as previously reported. Granted that wireless charging increases the cost of manufacturing of the smartphone and we could only see it as a feature on the more expensive Pro models.
Having said that, it is exciting to see that we may one day have a OnePlus smartphone that will support wireless charging. It is also possible that reverse wireless charging may also be a significant feature that can be used to charge accessories such as smartwatches and wireless earbuds.

OPPO Just Launched A Smartwatch That Looks Identical To The Apple Watch In Almost Every Way

When it comes to smartwatches, the Apple Watch is leading the race in the wearable space. However, OPPO has been wanting to launch a smartwatch of their own and today we got to see our very first glimpse of the Chinese companyâs smartwatch.
Vice President for OPPO shared an image of the first render that the company will be launching soon. Whatâs striking is that you may have mistaken it for the Apple Watch.
The image was shared on Chinese social media website Weibo and we get a clear look at the upcoming smartwatch.
© MensXP From afar, the smartwatch looks awfully similar to the Apple Watch Series 4 or 5 as it has the same curved edges and even has an identical watch face used in marketing materials. If you look closely at the strap, it looks similar to the silicone strap you get with the Apple Watch.
© OPPO/Weibo However, there is one slight difference in OPPOâs smartwatch from the Apple Watch, instead of the digital crown on the right side of the smartwatch, it has been substituted with another button. We can only see one side of the smartwatch so it isnât entirely sure whether OPPOâs smartwatch uses a digital crown as well on the other side of the chassis.
If you look closely, there is a hole between the buttons that might be for a microphone. This microphone can be used for talking over calls however we donât know whether the watch will be capable of supporting independent LTE connections like the Apple Watch.
© MensXP/Akshay Bhalla There is a good chance that OPPO might unveil the smartwatch at Mobile World Conference that is set to take place in a few weeks. It could be possible that the smartwatch will be available to buy on March 6th as the render says 'Fri 06' and the next Friday to fall of the sixth of the month is in March.
What do you think of OPPOâs new smartwatch? Do you think it resembles the Apple Watch too much? Let us know in the comments below.

6 Upcoming Hollywood Comedy Films In 2020 That'll Make Your Stomach Ache From Laughing Real Hard

The world, as we know, needs a good laugh every now and then, especially now, when the new world order is creating a stark imbalance between the good and bad. So, to ease and calm the mind, visual entertainment is quite appropriate and when it's actually hilarious, it does cheer one up. So, wasting no time further, we're going to list down the best comedy movies from Hollywood, coming out this year, so you can wait for the ones you actually want to watch or save for later. Here are the 6 best comedy films to look forward to in 2020: (1) The Gentlemen- Releases January 24 © STX films We've been waiting for a Guy Ritchie movie for so long and it's finally here! The film is about an American marijuana mogul, who lives in London (played by none other than Matthew McConaughey), who starts a chain of events to get a few things in life. (2) Birds Of Prey- Releases February 7
© Warner Bros Pictures Okay yes, this is a DC superhero flick, so why is it here, you ask? Well, it actually looks quite funny from the trailer, especially the part where Harley Quin is out to prove that she's a better Joker than the OG Joker. Love her comic time though (remember The Wolf Of Wall Street?), so in all probability, the movie might just be a big hit because of her! (3) The Lovebirds- Releases April 19
© Paramount-Pictures This one's actually quite hilarious from what the trailer shows us. Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani play a couple who get caught up in a terrible murder mystery. Relax guys, it's not as intense as it sounds, it's actually a murder mystery rom-com! So, those of you, who have recently fallen in love, definitely watch this one together. (4) Free Guy- Releases July 3
© 20th Century Studios Video game geek? This comedy-action flick is actually for you. Ryan Renolds plays an NPC (non-playable character)in a video game, who suddenly gains self-awareness and now wants to save the world, or the world he is in. We also have Jodie Comer from Killing Eve plays one of the gameâs programmers, who is actually shy in real life but becomes quite badass in the game.  (5) Bill & Ted Face The Music- Releases On August 21 © United artists releasing We don't have a trailer for this one yet, BUT we just can't wait for Bill and Ted to come back and give us some laughs. If you've seen the previous two, i.e. Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, you'll know this one will be a laugh riot too. Besides, everyone's obsession with Keanu Reeves, will be awarded in 2020! This one's again about saving the world in some way or the other, when the two get an ominous message from the future, while also seeing though they don't hit mid-age crisis!
(6) The Witches- Releases On October 9
© Warner-Bros If you've read Roal Dahl's book The Witches, you already know what's in store for you. It's a marvellous piece of work I personally enjoyed reading and I am sure the movie adaption will be exciting too, with Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Chris Rock, and Stanley Tucci. And it releases on Halloween. Perfect, isn't it?  The story is about how witches hate little children and a young boy who goes and lives with his grandparents gets caught up a lot of drama some witches have been 'brewing'. We don't have the trailer just yet, but here's a clip from the first adaption of the movie which came out in 1990. Maybe you can get a heads up! We have quite a hilarious year to look forward to, in case everything around you seems really dark and dull right now. Just brace yourselves and wait patiently for the year's finest comedies to release!

5 Simple Steps To Use An Aftershave & Not Feel As If Your Face Is On Fire

Post your shaving sesh, chances are that you might be accustomed to using an aftershave that burns like hell, right? Sometimes the ingredients included in it can result in making your mug feel like it's on fire which can lead to swelling or scabbing as well. However, you can avoid all the post-shave problems with some quick remedies. This final solution helps in hydrating and conditioning your skin.  Take your time and learn these basic steps. Here's how you can use it the right way: Ingredients To Seek & Avoid  You should stick to natural ingredients as they are the best ones and aid in moisturising your face. Many grooming brands, for example, The Body Shop, Forest Essentials and Kama Ayurveda include natural ingredients that will help your skin. © Istock You can also use home remedies like aloe vera, chamomile, jojoba oil and tea tree oil to achieve some great benefits. Steer clear of alcohol, parabens and sulfate products as they can destroy your skin texture. The Right Way To Use It:  1. Rinse Your Face
© Istock We know it's winter and you are tempted to use hot water but while shaving, you need to wash your mug with cold water. It helps in making your skin less vulnerable to any reaction and can tone the texture as well. 2. Mix It Properly
© Istock When you use aftershave, you don't just slap it on. Put it on your palms and spread it well. It will generate some heat and you will now be ready for its application. 3. Blend It Well
© Istock Use the solution in the downward motion. Start from your cheekbones and then to your jawline. Cover your neck area as well. 4. Reapply If your skin feels dry after the first application, you can snap on just a little bit more. It helps your skin feel better. For some, the traditional method of using an aftershave can cause skin irritation. If you are one of them, try out these skin hacks that are bound to do wonders. 1. Beard Balms
© Istock If you have dry and irritant skin, balms with their lightweight texture can help boost your skin and moisturise it. Usually, they also have cooling agents that work well on razor burns as well. 2. Gels For post-shave soreness, you will need light moisture. Use face gels as they are well-suited for all sorts of weather conditions and skin type as well. They usually have anti-bacterial compounds that will fight off any sort of infection and safeguard your skin as well.

3. Lotions
© MensXP Mud Aftershave lotions also double as conditioners. They have healing agents that minimise redness as they contain antiseptics that clean the skin deeply. 4. Creams
Istock The consistency of creams varies from brands to brands. Depending upon your skin type, you can lay your hands on hydrating face creams that give a tender, smooth skin and restore the natural look with time.

Dhoni, Kohli & Sharma To Play In An IPL All-Star Team & Itll Just Be Like The Good Old Days

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has taken a page out of the book of the National Basketball League (NBA) and have decided to organise an exhibition âAll-Starâ match ahead of the 2020 edition of the month and a half-long tournament.
With the league scheduled to begin from March 29, 2020, the match, which is the first of its kind, will be taking place four days before on March 24. Out of the eight franchises that play in the IPL, one team will be selected with players from the South and West teams while the other will have to choose from teams that belong to the cities in North and East.
The Indian Premier League has an all-star game now

But who should make the teams? Have your say in our poll â¤µï¸ https://t.co/nAQ3OeBk6L â ESPNcricinfo (@ESPNcricinfo) January 28, 2020 âYes, we are doing it the NBA style, like they have East versus West (Eastern Conference versus Western Conference), and we intend to make it an annual fixture,â the IPL official told The Indian Express. âThe venue for the match hasnât been decided yet. Also, itâs premature to comment on who will lead the respective teams.â This, by default, means that players from some of the most talent-laden teams such as Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play together. This also means that three of the most recent captains of the Indian national team in Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will have the opportunity to represent one side, just like the good old days.  © Reuters Dhoni, who has missed out on checking in with the Indian cricket board about his future with the national team in the last six months, had confirmed that the will be a part of the 2020 edition of the IPL as the CSK leader. According to reports, he has also made himself available for the exhibition match.
One of the biggest questions that now rises is who will be made captain of this all-star team, especially with so much talent, experience and firepower the âSouth-Westâ team will be possessing?
#IPL2020 All Star match likely to be held on March 26th.

First team from North & East :
KXIP, RR, DC and KKR

Second team from South & West :
CSK, MI, SRH and RCB

MSD, Kohli and Hitman in one team.
Who will lead? â VIVO IPL 2020 (@IPLCricket) January 28, 2020 Having said that, the match will surely turn out to be a major throwback for the fans of the Indian cricket team and those who appreciate all the aforementioned athletes for the years and years worth of service as a part of the Men in Blue.

Influencing The 'Gram: Mr India 2016, Viren Barman Answers 9 Questions On Fitness & Style

An athlete, an actor, a model, a fitness coach and a fitness influencer - there are many hats that Viren Sushil Barman wears. People might remember him as the guy who was the first runner up in Mr India, back in 2016. However, for people who follow him on Instagram, he is actually way more than that - he, for many men, is the reason why they take fitness so seriously. View this post on InstagramPrepping for shopping season ð¤ð Try this exercise if you want to become a genuine badass, and I can promise you your lady will be happy too. ððGot 50kgs on the bar. Wouldnât say itâs heavy, but just right for today. Had a long day shooting, donât underestimate the stress even a mental activity can put on the nervous system ðð»ââï¸ðð» . . . . #fitness #health #exercise #fitfam #gym #strength #strong #sixpack #fit #men #lean #muscle #bodybuilding #functional #cardio #fitnessblogger #delhi #blogger #indiaA post shared by (@virensushilbarman) In a day and age when inclusivity and body image positivity is the becoming the norm, do beauty pageants even make sense? Ever wondered how do models, especially men who have performed on as massive a platform as Mr India, groom themselves? Well, Viren, answers a few such questions, as we sat down with him for a little chat. Edited Excerpts: Q. When did you start taking fitness seriously? I was always an athlete growing up, so there was never a time when fitness wasnât a part of who I am. But in the year 2013, right after graduating, I started to work at a very well-known multinational corporation. Only a couple of months into it, I realised I wasnât cut out for the corporate world because I didnât want to see my health deteriorate. Thatâs when I quit and invested all my time into studying about health and caught hold of the reigns of my life.  Recently in 2018, I joined the Adidas Runner community which further helped me train and run with people with a similar mindset encouraging me to push boundaries and work towards my fitness goal.  © Instagram/virensushilbarman Q. Walk us through your typical work out session. I typically have a full-body training three days a week and do cardio three days a week, which includes long walks and a pick-up game of basketball or boxing. Iâm currently following a block periodization program I made. The focus for the first four weeks is on hypertrophy (muscle gain), followed by a focus on strength (itâs all about the big numbers in this phase) for four weeks and then power (focus on being explosive and on acceleration) for four weeks.  View this post on InstagramTried out this new kettlebell swing inspired by @tmacsinc. Used this as a finisher to my heavy pull workout. Itâs pretty goddamn amazing because youâre training multiple elements at the same time. . . . #fitness #fitfam #exercise #health #sixpack #abs #core #training #workout #kettlebell #functional #movement #cardio #strength #spartan #mindsetA post shared by (@virensushilbarman) Q. What is that one aspect regarding fitness that men tend to ignore? I think most men tend to go wrong by ignoring two things. Firstly, a lot of men skip legs and end up looking like a brick being held up by a couple of chopsticks. Secondly, most guys just show up to the gym without a plan. Itâs literally like trying to build a house without a blueprint. Thatâs why, at our Adidas Runners and training sessions, we help people figure out how to get a structure behind their training. It is often centred around the principles of culture, purpose, transformation and participation.   View this post on InstagramThis has recently become one of my favourite core exercises. I do it to build core, lower back, grip and forearm strength. Try it and let me know what you guys think. . . . . #fitness #workout #fitfam #exercise #core #strength #strong #train #coaching #personaltrainer #fit #fitnessmotivation #model #fitnessmodel #health #cardio #training #athlete #transformation #inspiration #motivationA post shared by (@virensushilbarman) Q. Did you ever face any insecurity about your own body? If yes, how did you deal with it? When I had just started training at the gym, I saw a lot of guys much bigger and stronger than me. I was almost embarrassed to hit the weight room. But I realised itâs just a matter of being consistent, patient, and not giving up hope. Iâm glad to say that it all paid off and helped me build not just my physique, but an iron mindset. Later, joining the Adidas Runner community made me feel even more empowered on the journey of transformation.  © Instagram/virensushilbarman Q. What is the toughest challenge according to you, when it comes to obtaining and maintaining a body in shape? Nutrition will make you or break you. A lot of people still stick to the old school ideas of bulking and cutting, eating bland and boiled food, chicken breast and other such outdated ideas.  I find this quite ridiculous because we have access to such great and free resources such as MensXP, Adidas Runners, Youtube, Instagram, etc. For both aesthetics and performance, dialling in your nutrition is key. © Instagram/virensushilbarman Q. In this day and age where the regular notions of beauty are being challenged and where we are moving towards a more inclusive and body-positive definition of beauty, how relevant do you think are beauty and glamour pageants? I feel that the pendulum had swung too far to one side with what was thought to be beautiful. People pushed themselves to very unhealthy physical and mental states and although it would look very impressive, it didnât leave a great example for the people who they ended up inspiring.  I love that thereâs a gradual trend towards a more inclusive and body-positive definition of beauty. This is where beauty and glamour pageants could actually be beneficial, by rewarding a standard of beauty that is synonymous with health more than anything. Iâm hopeful that the beauty pageants are going to slowly move in that direction. © Instagram/virensushilbarman Q. How would you define your signature style? What are some must-have wardrobe staples for men, according to you? My signature style is anything that is classic and timeless. A crisp white shirt, tailor-made three-piece suit, comfortable pair of denim, solid t-shirts and Chelsea boots are some absolute must-have articles. © Instagram/virensushilbarman Q. What is your grooming routine? Any grooming essentials that you simply canât do without? For my daily grooming routine, I use a very mild face wash with a face sponge. Follow that up with a shave, aloe vera, tweeze the stray hairs. Top it up with a great moisturiser, which is something I canât do without. © Instagram/virensushilbarman Q. What is that one piece of advice about fitness, that you wish someone had given to you when you were younger? I wish I wouldâve worked on my Glutes way sooner. Most guys, if not all, think Glutes training is only for women. This couldnât be further from the truth. The Gluteus muscles are simply the most important to train in the human body. Get to it. As much as people like to bash social media, there's no denying the fact that a large chunk of our lives is being shaped by it. What better way to really gauge this phenomenon than by the rise of influencers over platforms like YouTube and Instagram? Indeed, the world has become one small 'gram'. As a series, Influencing The 'Gram seeks to explore how social media influencers have changed the way we think of fashion over the decade, and how for most of them, even though they consider themselves to be ardent renegades, fashion and style contribute immensely to their online personas.

Draping Indian Men: How Raghavendra Rathore Redefined Elegance In Indian Ethnic Menswear

India has a long and rich heritage of creating fables with fabrics and textiles which have always had the ability to leave people spellbound. Of the present crop of these storytellers (read designers) who have made a momentous impact on the zeitgeist of traditional menswear, Raghavendra Rathore, both as a brand and as a name is one, which can never be left out. © Rathore At a time when deconstruction, kitsch, pastiche and asymmetry are all the rage, Raghavendra Rathore has managed to remain unapologetically (and for a change, refreshingly) traditional and true to his Jodhpuri roots.  From the King of Jaipur, Maharaja Padmanabh Singh aka Pacho, to the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, his creations have often graced stalwarts from various fields, with an aesthetic sensibility that is modernistic, aristocratic, and at its core, regally Indian. © Rathore Not many people know this, but Rathore himself is a blue-blooded aristocrat and a part of the Royal Family of Jodhpur. We sat down with this prince of Jodhpur and had a casual chat about Indian fashion, how individuality will always be at the core of style, and how fashion and fashion buying function in the day and age of Instagram. Edited Excerpts: © Rathore Considering your illustrious legacy of over 25 years, how would you say as a veteran of Indian Fashion, has the industry grown over the years?  Fashion is something which evolves or changes with time, which is structured in the âfashion worldâ as âseasonâ. The phenomenon is acknowledged globally. Driving these âseasonsâ and changing trends are big money and business; hence the industry is more competitive now than ever.  What you see with designers today transcends first to top end opinion-makers mainly movie stars; then to stores, and finally to streetwear. Fashion, therefore, is transient- it catches a moment; hence there are so many changes that one could see. Your creations have a regal and aristocratic appeal, especially in your bespoke creations. What mindset do you work with when you create ensembles for someone like Shah Rukh Khan, or Maharaja Padmanabh Singh, for that matter? Our work ethos and artistic sensibilities remain the same and donât vary from person to person. However, when we cater to someone as charming as Shah Rukh Khan, we make sure that his individuality of that romantic aura reflects well with the kind of clothes he wears. On the other hand, Maharaja Padmanabh Singh is as royal as our design inspiration and can make any outfit look grand and spectacular. © Instagram/raghavendra.rathore What direction do you see the Indian fashion industry taking? It wonât be wrong to say that the Indian fashion industry is moving at a pace which is not only noteworthy but also looked upon as a profitable hub by our western counterparts. Undoubtedly, the country is increasingly becoming a focal point for the fashion industry, thanks to the rapidly growing middle class and an increasingly powerful manufacturing sector. What is that one current trend that we see today on the ramp, that has the potential of making it big among regular people in the future? Fashion goes through various highs and lows with some red carpet appearances making global trends, and thereby bringing fashion from the ramps to the rack. And if you want to see how the fashion industry is moving, take a cue from menswear trends. Some of the most sought after styles that have the potential to make way to the daily lives of ordinary people is the fashion from the â80s and the â90s that are coming back. Bright colours, clean cuts and smart appliqués are again in style. © Instagram/raghavendra.rathore What creative and commercial directions do you plan to take? For someone instrumental in single-handedly putting the Bandhgala on the fashion map of the world, I believe in making India a textile inspiration for the world and giving weavers the best of livelihood. Raghavendra Rathore Jodhpur is definitely on the mission to become one of the world leaders in the bespoke and luxury segment, and every small step certainly adds to the goal. Your creations tend to be very fluid and an amalgamation of classic silhouettes with contemporary and modern aesthetics. Where do you draw your inspiration from? We leave no stone unturned when it comes to reviving the ancient hand-weaving techniques through our brand and as a result making Bandhgalas and Jodhpuris a global phenomenon. For us, luxury is not only about everything extravagant, elaborate or things that are larger than life; one can find it in subtle styling as well. Also, our quintessential designs are the most excellent examples of how one can translate luxury in exquisite detailing, artistic craftsmanship and eco- friendly designs. © Instagram/mrkhanna What is that one trend in menâs fashion that you donât like, or donât agree with? Every trend makes people learn, unlearn of what is needed and what should be left there only. © Instagram/jimmysheirgill How do you think the industry as a whole is dealing with this issue of sustainable and âeco-friendlyâ fashion? Responsible fashion is the need of the hour, and as a brand, we believe in staying away from synthetic and fast fashion and keeping the design aesthetics as ethical and meaningful as possible. Our brand philosophy lies in designing and manufacturing bespoke clothes in a way that benefits weavers and artisans without impacting the climate and environment. We have given some of the finest and most innovative and luxurious trends in menswear, thereby providing a makeover to not only sustainable fashion but also changing the definition of luxury fashion in India. We are working tirelessly with weavers and craftspeople to produce clothes that are considered royalty in their way and makes for a perfect gentlemanâs choice. The conscious urban Indian with high disposable income is aware of the side effects of fast fashion and hence going the greenway when it comes to adding luxury to their closet is a choice they want to make deliberately. © Instagram/anilskapoor What are your views on the debate around Maximalism vis-a-vis Minimalism? There was a time when everything jazzy and over the top was grabbing eyeballs, and this was undoubtedly the age when fashion was an untouched territory. Now with a growing number of designers and international inspirations, people, especially fashion connoisseurs, have come to terms that what was eye-catchy a few days back is out of taste now. Minimalism is the need of the hour for the kind of elegance it exudes. Given how Instagram lets designers connect directly with their customers, do you think fashion shows are relevant today?  After all, these are the platforms that set the trend and let the world know whatâs happening in the Indian fashion scene. Virtual exposure is entirely different from what you experience in person, and this is where the difference lies. Tell us something about your creative process. How do you go about coming with themes and motifs for your creations Our design inspirations go back to the aesthetic and august arras of the rich landscape of my royal heartland in the form of classic designs that never go out of fashion and give your individuality a new high. We as a brand with all my heart and soul believe in promoting India in the best way possible, and this is showcased in our minute detailing and analytical techniques of tailoring on hand-spun fabrics. © Instagram/rheakapoor Where do you think menâs fashion in India is heading? When we talk about trends in menswear, some consumers follow a particular direction, while others let their individuality speak. The market is getting extremely competitive, and brands are taking a step back to understand the consumer persona, where social media acts as a boon, and then define the trend. But with ever-changing tastes and preferences, menâs fashion is moving in the right direction for sure. What according to you are five essential must-haves for Indian men when it comes to traditional, ethnic menswear? A classic Bandhgala jacket, a sherwani, Jodhpuri pants, a well tailored Achkan, and some elegant vests for kurtas © Instagram/anilskapoor Three words youâd use to describe your signature style. Elegant, effortless and an enigma for unnerved What is your favourite historical era in terms of menswear, and why? I believe in living in the present and focusing on what I would love to see in the future. For me, every era holds a kind of enlightenment for those who are ready to take up challenges. © Instagram/ranveersingh Do you think traditional Indian menswear is evolving? Of course yes and so many designers stepping into menswear and expanding it to cater to the most handsome looking men is a testimony to that. One celebrity who can teach everyone else a lesson or two on how to pull off the Indian aesthetic elegantly, when it comes to menswear. Every individual has their identity. What looks good on someone may never bring out anotherâs personality as much, so to each to their own. © Instagram/harbhajan3 One thing men should never do while dressing up in traditional Indian wear. To match the entire outfit in one family of colour and overdo their accessories.  One traditional Indian menswear item you believe every Indian man should have in his wardrobe. A well-tailored Jodhpuri pant or a nicely done Bandhgala Men's fashion in India slipped through the cracks of the mainstream fashion scene and has stayed under the radar for far too long. Take a look at any fashion event - fashion weeks, fashion shows et all, and you'll see how in most of them, menswear seems to be an afterthought. Furthermore, shows focussing exclusively on menswear are a rarity.  As a series, Draping Indian Men is an earnest attempt to celebrate the changing phase of men's fashion in India, and those pioneering geniuses who have come to define our sartorial sensibilities.

Here's The Timeline Of The Sexual Assault Case On Late Kobe Bryant That We May Have Forgotten

Basketball fans along with others who admired Kobe Bryant as a phenomenal game player are saddened by his demise and we can't emphasise enough on how big a loss this has been for the sports fraternity. The 41-year-old, along with eight other people, including his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, died in a helicopter crash, on the 26th of January, in California. The death of a legend, as they called him, and eight other people was terribly tragic and the NBA superstar's legacy was celebrated rightly so, when the world of music gathered inside the Staples centre in LA for the Grammys and the night was dominated by tributes to Kobe from Alicia Keys, Boyz II Men, rapper Lil Nas X and countless other who were present there. © Twitter The prosecutors had a strong case. The woman was examined at the hospital the day after the encounter and had injuries that were 'not consistent with consensual sex'. She had bruises on her neck, tears in her vaginal walls and both her underwear and Kobe's shirt were bloody. Right after the case was blown out of proportion by the media and slowly it disappeared from the realms of rape reality, when an out of court settlement was initiated for an undisclosed amount. Yes, this is what happened. Let the sheer reality of what you've just read grip you hard and remind you even today, the progressive women's movement is a constant reminder to never forget what has happened, no matter how much time has passed. We talk about a legendry man's sexual assault case right now, after a considerable amount of time has passed, only because it befits the good and bad in everyone, whether they're dead or alive, creating the perfect metaphor.

This Website Tracks The Spread Of Coronavirus On A Map To Show Which Countries Are Affected So Far

The outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus in central China has infected thousands of people in Mainland China and it's rapidly spreading overseas too. The authorities are trying really hard to contain the virus and stopping it from becoming a global epidemic. Since the first case was identified in December in Wuhan, over 6,000 people have fallen prey to the virus. And this number is increasing by the day and it has already taken the lives of over 100 people across different countries. It's really important that each one of us is extremely careful of our surroundings. © Reuters In case you're not fully aware of the outbreak, there's a website that's tracking the spread of the virus in real-time. In order to prevent the spread of misinformation, the Center for Systems Science and Engineering in Maryland has created an online tool to tell you exactly which places are affected.
The tool has been created in collaboration with several other organisations including the World Health Organisation (WHO), Centre for Disease Control and Prevention in China, the US and Europe. So you can count on these numbers. © Center for Systems Science and Engineering Tool The tool, as you can see, basically represents the data visually to help you understand the situation better. It includes information on outbreaks, people affected and the number of lives claimed. There are several different tabs in which you can see other data. The red dots on the map reveal the places where the virus has entered. The primary idea of the tool is to inform people about the situation and make aware of the outbreak. This can be really helpful for people who are planning to fly abroad for work or leisure. © Reuters According to the tool, Mainland China is where the most number of cases have been found. However, other places like Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, etc. also have a few cases and casualties. Coronaviruses are causing Pneumonia-like symptoms and they can cause some serious respiratory diseases.  So far, there are no vaccines or medicine available to treat or prevent the spread of coronavirus, so it's best to avoid the places seen on the map.   Source: Sciencealert

With 3 Big Wickets In First Over, Kartik Tyagi-Led India End Australias Dream Run At U19 WC

The ICC U19 World Cup is in the knockout phase now and one of the most exciting match-ups from the tournament took place when India and Australia locked horns for a spot in the semi-finals.  After winning the toss, Aussie skipper Mackenzie Harvey chose to field first and for the first half of the match, it felt like a good decision. Other than the opener, Yashaasvi Jaiswalâs 62 and Atharva Ankolekarâs middle-order half-ton, Indian batsmen found it difficult to collate runs and had to settle for a below average total of 233.  Virat Kohli's record after 25 Youth ODI innings:

Runs: 978
Batting average: 46.57

Yashasvi Jaiswal's record after 25 Youth ODI innings:

Batting average: 62.78

However, it were the Indian bowlers who showed up in the clutch to bring home the victory and wrapped up the entire Australian batting line-up at 159 to move ahead. The boys from Down Under were considered to be the favourites ahead of the tournament but found it overwhelming to cope with the talented Indian bowlers, led by the 19-year-old Kartik Tyagi.  The pacer, who was trusted with the new ball by Indian captain Priyam Garg, did not disappoint as the team picked three huge wickets in the first over itself. On the first delivery of Australiaâs batting, opener Jake Fraser-McGurk lost his wicket in a run-out due to the miscommunication with partner Sam Fanning who was on strike. Kartik Tyagi dismantle AUS U-19 team. Poor start by Aussies and very uncharacteristic from them.

It wasnât too long after Fraser-McGurk walked back to the pavilion that the two batsmen who came after him, were dismissed as well. Tyagi trapped Harvey with an LBW appeal on the fourth delivery and bowled Lachlan Hearne on the following ball.  The Uttar Pradesh player went on to scalp two more wickets during the match while giving away just 24 runs in eight overs to lead his side to victory.  Fellow pacer, Akash Singh also made a significant contribution to the win as he picked three wickets of his own, including the final act in which he destroyed the middle stump to remove Aussie tailender Matthew Willians from the crease. Fruit Seller Who Got Padma Shri For Providing Education To Poor Kids Is The Hero The World Needs

"Be the change you want to see in the world!" While most of us treat this as a quote and move on with our respective lives, there are some people who actually bring a positive change in the world through their course of actions. You don't need superpowers to be a hero or move mountains, and Harekala Hajabba Just proved that to the world. In case the name doesn't ring a bell, I am sure you will know who he is when I tell you that he's the fruit seller who has been named as one of the recipients for this year's Padma Shri Award. © Reuters However, Hajabba is much more than just a man who sells oranges for a living. He is someone who is responsible for single-handedly educating thousands of underprivileged children in his village. According to news reports, the village that Hajabba comes from, Newpadapu, did not have a school, so he used all his money to set up one. And as more kids started coming, he took loans and used his savings to buy land for the school. © Twitter Hajabba who is now fondly called 'Akshara Santa' (saint of letters) has never received a formal education but decided that the kids in the village don't miss out on education, after an encounter with foreign tourists where he failed to answer them the price of oranges. "The couple walked away. I felt very bad, and felt that at least the children of my village should not be in a similar situation. I realised the manner in which communication can help one to progress in life, and at the time bring people together," he told media. Indian Forest Services officer Parveen Kaswan took to Twitter to mention how Hajabba was conveyed the message that he has been named for the prestigious Padma Shri. He wrote, "Harekala Hajabba was in a line on a ration shop when authorities informed him that he got #Padma Shri. This fruit seller from Dakshin Kannada is educating poor children in his village of Newpadapu from a decade in a mosque. Doing all the efforts including spending his savings." This Bus Conductor Studied For 5 Hrs Daily To Clear UPSC & Thats All The Inspiration We Need

We donât really feel the depth in the words that make up our elderâs often-used, much-loved, spirit-boosting punchline âtry and try till you succeedâ. Every little setback we stumbled upon as kids and even as grown-ups, was treated and cared for with these words that were meant to heal and revive our deflated spirit. While many of us overlooked the real value of those words, IAS aspirant and bus conductor Madhu NC decided to take those words to heart and kept trying until he achieved his dream of clearing the UPSC Civil Services Exam, despite previous failures. © Getty Images 29-year-old Madhu works as a bus conductor with Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) and studied for five hours on a day-to-day basis to clear both UPSC Prelims and Mains. He is now gearing up to appear for his interviews, scheduled to take place in March this year.
However, as one can guess, these moments of joy havenât come easy.
The Backstory © Quora (Representative Image Madhu comes from a family of humble means who live in the small town of Malavalli in Mandya, Karnataka. He also happens to be the first in his family of elder brother, sister-in-law and old parents to go to a school. At a young age of 19, Madhu had to start working as a conductor to support his family right after he completed school. However, his desire to study further and make something worthy of himself pushed him to complete his graduation and post-graduation through distance learning. Today he is an MA in Political Science.
The Journey To His Dreams Back in 2014, Madhu appeared for the Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) exam for the first time, but couldnât clear it. However, that only pushed him to try harder. Thatâs how he decided to sit for the UPSC exam in 2018, but couldnât cut it yet again. © Getty Images Still, he pushed forward. He says, âI always wanted to achieve something big in life. I started working early to support my family, but that did not stop me from studying further. I used to study for 5 hours a day. My subjects were Ethics, Political Science, Maths and Science. I would study every day, before and after work. I would also wake up at 4 am and finish my studies before proceeding to work.â
Moment Of GloryMadhu works for eight hours every day, facing the crowd and giving out tickets to passengers while standing in a moving bus the entire time. But none of it stopped him from working hard and chasing his dream of clearing the UPSC exam.
© BCCL Madhu aspires to become an IAS officer just like his boss C Shikha, who is currently helping Madhu with his interview preparation. Madhu prepared for the exams on his own and took guidance from seniors at work.
And though Madhuâs parents donât know what kind of exam their son has cleared and what it means, they are over the moon because of their sonâs achievement. âMy parents donât know what exams I have cleared but are very happy for me. I am the first one to be educated in my family,â shares Madhu.
Madhuâs journey is proof that success always comes to those who are not afraid of trying.

Ranbir Kapoor's Cheap Football Shoes Can Easily Become Any Footballer's Fantasy Pair

On most days Ranbir Kapoor spends his time wrapping up the much-awaited film of 2020, Brahmastra that he's shooting along with his co-star and rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt.  Spotting him outside is a rarity since he has a rather busy shooting schedule. However, occasions like a scheduled football match are days when Ranbir makes it a point to free up some time from his tedious schedule to show up on the field and play the game. It is on these occasions that we catch hold of him.
For the uninitiated, Ranbir loves to play football and going by how often he is spotted on the football field, he probably has a section in his closet set aside to store the precious football gear that he has collected over the years.  He only gets to use this gear whenever he gets time to play football. However, this time around, more than playing, Ranbir was in the mood of goofing around. So, throughout the match, he was seen holding a banana in his hand. What's interesting is the fact that when he was asked to pose for the media later after the match got over, he used the banana as a prop moustache.  Take a look here:
© Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani But if you look at his goofy pose, you can also see that he's wearing a regular tank top along with shorts and tights to go underneath. This look can easily come under regular football gear.  © Viral Bhayani However, what piqued our interest was the pair of shoes that he was wearing. The pair was a regular football silhouette with orange and white colourways and a black Nike swoosh on either side of the shoe.  © Viral Bhayani In case you're wondering, the pair is called Nike White & Orange JR Legend 7 Club FG Football Shoes. They come for the cost of Rs. 3,695 and are usually on sale. Ranbir's shoes, as it turns out, are surprisingly quite affordable.

82-YO Doctor Receives The Padma Shri Award For Treating Burn Victims For Free Since 25 Years

While some people pave their careers, do well in life and while working hard to fulfil their dreams, don't get enough time to help the needy, there are others who despite having all these challenges, have the will and time to help others in need. No, don't get me wrong. There is no judgement here but we do have a living example of hope and goodwill living amidst us and we should take our time and talk about this honorary gentleman. Yogi Aeron, an 82-year-old plastic surgeon from Malsi, Dehradun was recently awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, for treating patients who are below poverty lines with burns and disfigured faces, for free, for the past 25 years! According to a report by India Today, 118 people are awarded the Padma Shri this year, who've contributed in various fields such as arts, music, medicine, social work, sports and education. But what Yogi Aeron is getting the award for is definitely worth a mention. © Facebook/ReSurge Yogi Aeron, a dignified and established plastic surgeon, has been conducting a two week camp, twice a year since 2006, in which patients below the poverty line are treated for disfigured faces, lips, cheeks, nose and any other part which needs treatment from major or minor burns. The man conducts almost 500 surgeries for free for these patients, with the help of 15 other US-based doctors. His list of patients sometimes exceeds 10,000 but even so, he makes an effort and time for each and every name on the list. Yogi graduated from King George Medical College in Lucknow and then went on to specialise in plastic surgery in the United States. We all know how lucrative a field plastic surgery really is but to use the advantage for the downtrodden is another, completely different aspect of it and we're really grateful Yogi does his best to help those in need. He seeks help from different NGOs and his friends from the United States and India for funding the plastic surgeries he does for people who can't afford them otherwise. Along with that, he's also established a 4-acre campus, which he has turned into a 'science park', which is practically a learning space for children of all age-groups. He's now looking to convert it into a treatment facility for people below poverty lines, for whom he performs the plastic surgeries. © Facebook/ReSurge There are people who live through life with severe burn marks and disfigured faces and body parts. Acid attack victims especially, who are mostly from the lower strata of society have to live with a constant reminder of the attack. If there is someone who can help them overcome their fears of looking into the mirror, then this world is definitely becoming a better place to live in. We truly hope Yogi Aeron is successful in this benevolent practice and it continues for years to come.

Anil Kapoor Wore A Crisp White Outfit But His Sparkling White Sneakers Worth Rs 7K Stole The Show

Anil Kapoor is one of the most immaculately-dressed men in Bollywood. So, it's clear that his age is just a number and doesn't affect his physical appearance at all. In fact, with age, his style game only seems to be getting better. He's also someone who constantly keeps playing around with structures and silhouettes to create a look that suits his height the best.
Besides, if you'll keep a tab on Anil Kapoor's outfits, you will realise that his son Harshvardhan is definitely taking inspiration from him for building up his wardrobe. We know this because Harshvardhan Kapoor's Instagram is full of collectible sneaker posts and outfits paired with unique, snazzy pairs of sneakers. We think that Harshvardhan developed the hobby of collecting sneakers taking a cue from his father who has always understood the importance of dressing up well.
And one thing that instantly lifts up an outfit is accessories. From a pair of cool shades to a functional bag and even a pair of rad sneakers, all of these can up your outfit game in seconds. Anil Kapoor understands this. Case in point, recently, when he was spotted in a stunning all-white look outside, we instantly knew that this was definitely an inspiration-worthy outfit and we had to take note. Take a look here: © Viral Bhayani Anil Kapoor was seen wearing a crisp cream white jacket with pockets that he paired with tapered linen joggers that had a unique charm to them. Especially because, the fact that they're made of linen means that they're structured and also extremely comfortable. To complete the look Anil Kapoor added a pair of Nike sneakers.
© Viral Bhayani This pair by Nike is called Air Force 1 with detachable swooshes which retail for the price of Rs 7,295.
© Viral Bhayani Anil Kapoor clearly looks like Harshvardhan's older brother here. Especially with that pair of shades and that sharply defined beard.  This certainly proves that we can never really stop taking a cue from his outfits.

ISRO Has Started Work On Chandrayaan 3 & Here's How Much Will Be Spent On The Next Moon Landing

Although Chandrayaan 2's Vikram Lander failed to make its intended soft-landing on the moon, the mission is still considered to be a success. However, it looks like ISRO really wants to get that lander on the lunar surface, and hence the organisation has begun work on a second attempt. Earlier this month, ISRO Chief K.Sivan had confirmed the government's approval for a spacecraft and a rover to land on the Moon's south pole. The mission is scheduled to take place next year, but it looks like work has already begun. © Reuters While addressing at a space event in Bengaluru, ISRO chief K. Sivan confirmed yet again that they've started working on the third lunar mission i.e Chandrayaan 3 . The mission will see the landing on an unmanned spacecraft near the Moon's south pole.
"We have started working on our third lunar mission to land an unmanned spacecraft near the Moon's south pole. The project work has gained momentum to launch the lander and rover by early 2021," he said.
India's first attempt to land on the lunar surface, in case you don't know, didn't go exactly as planned. The Vikram lander crash-landed on the Moon's surface due to a velocity glitch. The orbiter, however, didn't have any issues and it continued to send valuable info back to ISRO. © Reuters That being said, the next mission will not have an orbiter. ISRO will only be sending a lander and a rover to the moon, which means the mission might not be as expensive as the last one. Still, the lander, rover and the rocket itself will cost a total of Rs 610 crores, out of which Rs 360 crore will go towards the GSLV-MkIII launch vehicle. It's the same vehicle that successfully launched Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft on July 22, 2019.

Sidharth Malhotra's Sneakers With Bright Orange Post-Its Are A Great Way To Set A Reminder

One of the weirdest trends that we noticed in the sneakers arena were chunky sneakers with huge security tags on them. Earlier, we spotted Arjun Kapoor wearing such sneakers and just when we thought this is it, we spotted Sidharth Malhotra acing this trend yet again.
© Viral Bhayani Recently, he was papped at Mumbai airport in what can easily be called as the best of casual outfits. While he looked super relaxed as usual, what actually caught our attention were his sneakers. And no, they are not just any pair that you might have seen earlier but they have bright orange post-its on them.
Take a good look here:
© Krix Virgil Abloh's sneakers have one thing in common that they are extravagant and always have an outlandish appearance. Sidharth made an undeniable statement with these sneakers. A quick tip? These sneakers are supposed to look playful and hence you can easily set a reminder also on them.
Apart from being so OTT, this pair is distinctively shabby and is priced at approximately Rs 50,000.

Watching Avengers: Endgame At 0.25x Speed Shows Exciting Discoveries & Heres What We Found

It has been over nine months since Marvel Studios presented us with Avengers: Endgame and with the digital version of the film made available to us since the past couple of months, I have indulged in multiple viewings ever since. While there are a lot of people who remained unhappy with the way the final movie turned out to be, I believe that the directors did a good job concluding Phase 3, albeit the numerous loopholes and inaccuracies in the theory that the film followed.
Having said that, I decided to watch the movie at one-fourth of the normal speed and it led to some really interesting discoveries that were possible if we were to watch it at the speed it was meant to watch.
NOTE: The idea was based on the YouTube series introduced by The Canadian Lad â.
1. Hulk Uses A Pencil To Push Buttons On The Time Machine © Marvel Studios While this was a detail that Marvel Studios would have easily missed out on, or would not have bothered to put in but the fact that they did add this was why I love their VFX team. It would have been difficult for Professor Hulk to push the buttons, especially with his sausage-like fingers. Banner was therefore made to use a pencil for the same.
via GIPHY 2. Ant-Man Shrinks To Protect Himself From Blast © Marvel Studios When Thanos travels forward in time to try and defeat the Avengers during the events of Endgame, he commands his army to destroy their headquarters. When the building was getting bombarded, there was a scene in which a blast took place right in front of Scott Lang aka Ant-Man. In order to protect himself, Langâs helmet can be seen taking shape just milliseconds before he begins to shrink.
via GIPHY 3. Wasp Has A Separate, Smaller Teleportation Ring © Marvel Studios Just moments ahead of the final battle, Captain America hears the sound of Doctor Strangeâs teleportation rings being formed out of thin air. As he turns around, he finds that all the previously decimated Avengers have returned. What we couldnât manage to see during this sequence was that Hope van Dyne aka the Wasp emerges out of a different, smaller ring. This addition was made for the obvious reason that when Thanos snapped his fingers in Infinity War, Hope was in a completely different spot than the rest of the team who were either in Wakanda or on Titan (Thanosâ home planet). via GIPHY  4. Thanosâ Helicopter Blade Remember the time when we thought that the way the Mad Titan rotated his blade defied the laws of physics? Turns out, there is a logical explanation to that. Golfing pro Tiger Woods too was heartbroken after hearing about Kobeâs death. Kobe and Tiger are often compared a lot because of their similar career arcs. Both became popular names in the field of sports by the age of 21. They were both passionate towards their sports who became top-10 players of all-time in their respective fields. Both had to go through controversies and scandals at a young age, too. "I didn't know until Joey just told me coming off the 18th green," Woods told CBS Sports after the round. The reality is setting in because I was just told about 5 minutes ago. Life is very fragile as we all know," added Woods. "You can be gone at any given time and we have to appreciate the moments that we have. I just can't imagine what his family's going through right now."  Tiger Woods reacts to the news of Kobe Bryantâs death shortly after finishing his round on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/veQV7WYgE8 â GOLFonCBS (@GOLFonCBS) January 26, 2020
