10 Smashing Punjabi Songs To Dance To On Your Best Friend's Wedding This 'Shaadi Season'

The wedding season is back and like an old book, we know the full story of how it will go down for all of us. We will get drunk, dance our hearts out, eat like a maniac and be extremely excited because chances are that one of our friends, or our cousins are taking the plunge this year.  So, while you decide what you have to wear to catch the eye of the prettiest girl at the wedding, here are 10 Punjabi songs you can add to the list of songs you have to dance to at your BFF's wedding this time.  1. Lehenga Probably one of the most played songs this wedding season and rightly so! Every girl is dancing to it, so in case you are in the 'team bride', this can be your jam.  2. Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha Trust Honey Singh to add his groove to any old number. This classic song has been remixed by the Yo!Yo! king himself and you can obviously not avoid performing to it with the whole crew.  3. Morni  Banke Get everyone on the dance floor because this one is the perfect crowd puller for friends from both the sides. 4. Taarefan Whether it is the boys asking the girls, or the bride tribe grooving to it, this track is a great song to be added to the performance chart.  5. Veer Ji Vyon Is there any other number which sums up how one feels when your best friend gets married? Perfect song to dance on the 'baraat'.  6. Tommy You can either choreograph it or do an impromptu gig dancing to this fun song.  7. Panjeba Another song for the bride tribe which is not about your BFF being a coy bride, but one 'bindaas' babe ready to tie the knot as her friends dance to this song.  8. Sauda Khara Khara No wedding is complete without a Sukhbir number where the crowd chants 'Oho' while the DJ turns down the volume. This classic number is back in time for the entire friend crew looking for a group dancing number. 9. Mithi Mithi Perfect song for the bros to challenge the 'Banno' ki 'sahelis' to a dance off on this number. 10. Wonderland This is a three-year-old track but nothing tells a girl that your bro loves her more than this absolutely crazy dance number.

Akshay & Diljit Experience Labour Pain For 'Good Newwz' & The Video Shows How Badly It Hurts

Pregnancy is not a child's play and no one else can relate to the struggles and pain that a woman goes through while giving birth. But, that was a few hours ago. Now, there are two men who can also imagine how painful the entire process is (without actually giving birth to a child) - Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh.  Akshay and Diljit are currently busy promoting their upcoming film Good Newwz which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani among others.  The film talks about two couples - Mr. and Mrs. Batra (Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh-Kiara Advani), who get entangled in a bizarre situation, when the hospital they go to for IVF procedure confuses their names and ends up exchanging the sperms. © Dharma Productions As part of the promotion, Akshay and Diljit recently tried the labour pain test to understand and experience the kind of pain a woman goes through while delivering a baby.  Akshay shared the video on social media and wrote, "Diljit Dosanjh and me experience labour pain : Good Newwz. A small step to understand what mothers go through by @diljitdosanjh & me. Dil se - RESPECT to all the mummies out there, delivering #GoodNewwz is harder than anyone can imagine!" View this post on Instagram A small step to understand what mothers go through by @diljitdosanjh & me. 4 Health Benefits Of Growing A Luscious Beard In Winter

Let's face it - your beard is an asset that helps you garner a lot of attention, right? Well, if that's the case, you should appreciate your beard because it can just do more than that. We have time and again spoken about ways you can grow a beard but there are several other reasons why you should not shave. Now that winter is here, your beard will be more than just an asset.  If you didn't know it already, we can tell you that growing a beard has been linked to many health benefits as well. All you need to do is to take care of your beard this season and let it do the rest.  Check out these solid health benefits you can attain with your hair follicles! 1. Sun Protection According to a study published by Oxford University, it is said that your facial hair acts as a barrier and protects your skin from UV radiation. The beard is a topmost layer in your skin that stops the rays from reaching the dermis which means no sunburn for you. If you have a long beard, you have enough protection. However, you should still continue using sunscreen when you step out. © Instagram,Ranveer singh 2. Keeps You Warm  While the whole world is busy hoarding jackets and scarves, all you need is your beard, a warmer for winters. Studies have shown that a beard can keep you warm. When the cold weather hits, the hair tends to adjust with it and traps the heat that is closer to your skin. Your beard is not just protection but also a wind barrier when it is too chilly outside. © Istock 3. Retains Skin's Moisture Even though it is winter you still need moisturising. But for someone who has a beard, the frequency is less. The beard helps trap the oil and saves your skin from stripping completely. When it comes to applying creams, avoid using thick ones with your beard. You can also get your hands on beard oil or conditioner to keep your beard hydrated! © Istock 4. Beard Reduces Skin Infections Shaving constantly is one of the biggest culprits of ingrown hair, razor burns etc. With a beard, you don't have to fret much. A beard tends to add a protective layer to your skin that can save you from the ugly wrath of these things. Besides that, it also controls pollen grains and other infectious particles to reach your skin. © Istock

From Jumping On Pogo Sticks To Making Ice Cream For Class, This Physics Professor Is A Legend

Let's admit that almost everyone has or had one teacher they were biased towards and always looked up to. That teacher was the coolest human being they ever came across. However, that coolness was never related to Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics.  Honestly, I can never imagine a Maths or Physics teacher without a grumpy face. They always looked angry or upset wth something or someone. But, Professor David Wright is different and way cooler than people half his age.  At 71, this man is jumping on pogo sticks, running around his classroom, making ice-cream for his class, playing with makeshift skate boards and more, just to make his students enjoy the class instead of being bored from all the lectures.  Y'all need to see this video collage of all the crazy things my Physics Professor did this semesterð. The student wrote, "Y'all need to see this video collage of all the crazy things my Physics Professor did this semester. He's in his 70s and is still doing all of this for us." Someone Made Noodles & Added Oranges To It & All We Can Say Is 'Janta Maaf Nahi Karegi'

When it comes to cooking, we all love to experiment. After all, an extra packet of masala in Maggi or an extra spoonful of nutella on waffles don't hurt anyone. But, just like too many cooks spoil the broth, too much creativity with food is dangerous for health and, in some cases, disgusting. While people are still not done fighting over pineapple on pizza, others have gone on to commit major crimes by making food combinations that will make you throw up, without even trying it. One such recipe is this 'santra Maggi' or Maggi with oranges that has left the people on internet fuming with anger. For the first time, a 'comfort food' is making people uncomfortable. Just saw this on a friend's IG story bruh what are y'all smoking pic.twitter.com/v63FEneIgI — PotatHOE (@potathoe69) December 11, 2019 This bizarre food combination was shared on Twitter with the caption "Just saw this on a friend's IG story bruh what are y'all smoking." 5 Bollywood Movies With Strange Climax Sequences That Left The Audience Confused

Bollywood produces a truck load of movies every year out of which only some come across as mass-entertainers for various reasons.  However, some movies also have climax sequences so confusing that the audience is flummoxed to no end.  Here is a list of five such movies which were brilliantly filmed but had endings which left the viewers perplexed.  1. Talaash The movie had grief as its main theme. Wonderfully directed by Reema Kagti, it revolves around Aamir's character, Surjan trying to deal with the loss of his eight years old son and solving a case with the help of Rosie, who turns out to be a ghost eventually. The film explores the angle that maybe how sometimes, in order to make peace with life, we tend to believe in the unnatural. The movie ends with Surjan finding a note from his dead son which was not understood properly by many viewers.  2. Karthik Calling Karthik This psychological thriller, starring Farhan Akhtar in the titular role, deals with the problem of speaking to a stranger who is basically himself only, and is guided by this phone call on how to deal with his life. It is revealed that he suffers from schizophrenia and has been imagining a fake 'brother' of his own since he was a kid. The ending unfolds well but left the audience with a lot of questions as well.  3. Roy Even with a good star cast, this movie received a lot of flak for being weak in several parts of the plot. The idea of two stories running simultaneously in the movie was okay but the execution was not that great, especially towards the end where in Kabir's movie (Arjun Rampal), his characters (Ranbir and Jacqueline) reunite and he reunites with Ayesha( played by Jacqueline again). Yeah, confusing.  4. Lootera One of the most poignant movies of all times, this complicated love story is borrowed from the Last Leaf by O.Henry.  Skipping to the part that the masses didn't really connect with was the part where the imagery and the metaphorical use of the 'last leaf' comes into play. As the last leaf falls, the curtains on the love and the life of Ranveer Singh's character is also drawn.  5. No Smoking This psychological  thriller is based on a Stephen King's novel which explains the complexity of the plot. It follows the story of a chain smoker who takes up the challenge to quit smoking and check in to a rehab but gets caught in the web of Baba Bengali who guarantees to make the smoker quit. The end where K's (John Abraham) soul returns to his body and he wakes up to find two fingers missing confused the masses to no end.

Take a look: © Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor/ Instagram This post on the gram only proves that Harsh Varrdhan is a fond collector of hype-beasty kicks. Recently, another post on his Gram flaunted one of his recent finds. In the picture, Harsh Varrdhan is trying to fetch something from the vending machine in his new kicks, take a look: © Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor/ Instagram He's wearing the Rimowa Air Yeezy in tan by Nike. Here's a close look at the silhouette: © Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor/ Instagram It almost looks like a huge band-aid is covering his sneakers to prevent dirt to get inside the nooks and crannies of the sneaker. Or worse, the sneaker is being held together by the band-aid. Either way, it's a really cool silhouette. But this is no surprise, considering he's even beat Anand Ahuja with his style game. So, it's always a delight to see the killer kicks he pairs with his outfits.

Peter Dinklage Tells Us About The 'Signs' That Were Hinting At Daenerys' Fate All Along The Way

The most iconic show to hit our screens ended with a lot of disappointment this year. Yes, I am talking about Game of Thrones, and its season 8, which left us in a state of anger and confusion. So much so, that fans leveraged petitions for the season to be re-made, while they called out the writers David Benioff and DB Weiss for actually killing major character arcs ordinarily, towards the end and writing off powerful women characters, without giving their characters due justice or proper closure. © HBO Now Peter Dinklage, also known as Tyrion Lannister in the show, has come forward and spoken about how Daenerys' actual fate was always hinted to its audience from the beginning and we should have actually picked up on those 'signposts'. The character of Daenerys Targaryen goes from absolute naivety to a woman unleashing her fury on the world, ultimately ending with her demise. The slow twist of the dark turn of character simply put Benioff and Wiess in a lot of controversy for showing women characters poorly in the show. In an interview with The New Yorker, 50-year-old Dinklage claims that he understands that people loved Danny's character played by Emilia Clarke, but also said since the beginning, the show's plot line always hinted at where Daenerys' character was eventually heading. In the interview he stated: "Well, everybody's always going to have an opinion, and that means an ownership. It's like breaking up with somebody. They get upset. I can't speak for everybody, but my feeling is they didn't want it to end, so a lot of people got angry. I feel like what Dave and Dan did was extraordinary. This happens. Monsters are created. And you don't see it coming. We vote them into office. You look the other way. So for everybody to get upset because they loved a character so much and they had so much faith in that person there were signposts along the way for that character." © HBO He also added the fact that Daenerys transformation from a  'righteous leader', to a 'powerful autocrat' was happening all along and everyone should have noticed the transition. "It added up to something. There are people who've named their children Khaleesi. You've just got to maybe wait till the series finale before you get that tattoo or name your golden retriever Daenerys! I can't help you! I'm sorry. She went mad. She was driven to that, and she's a victim as well in terms of how she was treated. She went through it, and she came out angry, as a lot of us do," he added further to the interview. © HBO Well, he is right about naming your dogs and babies on an impulse, when a TV show character is still being built. A lot of people named their girls and their dogs Khaleesi and well, Khaleesi met her unfortunate fate. Well, obviously this isn't mirroring the fate of people and dogs who're named the same but maybe having a bit of patience to see how the character unravels can help you naming your loved ones better. Although, Khaleesi aka Daenerys was a fearless ruler, her character arc did take an unfortunate turn towards the end.

10 Things To Keep In Mind Before Embarking On A Difficult Mountain Trek

I recently happened to have the opportunity to trek up to Tiger's Nest in Paro, Bhutan. The trek, considered a difficult one by most standards, is one of the most breathtaking journeys comprising of majestic views, cold winds, narrow steep trails, dozens of mules accompanying you along with thousands of tourists undertaking the renowned journey. While a trek up to a mountain is known to have therapeutic effects, it isn't everyone's cup of tea. To that effect, here are ten simple guidelines to make your trek memorable and more importantly doable.  1. Carry your own stick © Unsplash The single most important element while embarking on a trek is to carry your own stick (walking stick, no pun intended). Available for hire for a measly sum at the base point of the mountain, these should not be seen as a sign of old age or questionable manhood, but as necessary tools to prevent relentless pressure on your knees through the arduous journey. The trek to Tiger's Nest corresponds to 160 floors and hence a walking stick is a great way to ease the burden on your knees. In case you are unable to comprehend 160 floors, climb up the flight of stairs to your office on the 8th floor one morning. Multiply that 20 times and you get the general drift.  2. Sleep well the previous night © Unsplash As with most important landmarks in life, sleeping well the night before is a great way to prepare yourself. Given the altitude difference and the brutality of the impending trail, a good night's sleep is a great way to get your body ready for the difficult road ahead. It is best avoidable waking up binge watching trashy movies (Housefull 4 anyone?) and being hungover one night before a difficult trek.  3. Eat light © Unsplash Contrary to common perception, a tummy that is half full is highly recommended before embarking on a difficult trek. While it is obvious you don't want to initiate a difficult journey with a bad tummy, you shouldn't feel too heavy on the narrow trails, loaded with lots of carbohydrates. It is advisable to eat a little, preferably a protein-oriented diet before the journey. Avoid your daily diet of chicken burgers and mutton biryani the night before. After all, at the end of the trek, you would want to emerge a few grams lighter, isn't it? 4. Avoid the mules © Sandeep Das Domesticated animals - horses & mules are often employed to take tired tourists to the top. While I was climbing up Tiger's Nest, I noticed the mules drafting their own wayward journey on the narrow trails. There are abundant stories of tourists falling off these domesticated animals doing themselves some serious injury. If you still do happen to embark on a mule, your respect for the hapless creature should go up by the end of the trek and you should stop calling your juniors 'gadhe' in office. 5. Take a break every 15 minutes © Sandeep Das A trek up is neither a race nor a platform to show off on Instagram (quite a surprising revelation, isn't it). An upward trek is already difficult on the body with the altitude difference. In addition, everyone's physical fitness is on the decline with the onset of sedentary lifestyles. I highly recommend a mandatory break every 15 minutes to support your body while it goes through this journey. To be honest, with our lifestyles, our bodies will force you to take a break every 15 minutes whether you like it or not. 6. Enjoy the breathtaking views © Sandeep Das More than the end point of reaching the summit, the beauty of a mountain trek is the journey. Take a break and enjoy the breathtaking views - the thick line of fog, dense cover of greenery, the pure air, the narrow by-lanes and most importantly life without a cellular network. With most cellular operators not working properly in the biggest metros in India, you can be rest assured you won't receive cellular signal mid way to the top of the mountain. In case you do get it, we suggest you download the latest episodes on Netflix before coming back home.  7. Life is about Instagram - keep taking pictures © Sandeep Das Let's be honest to ourselves, most things in life are about maintaining a great profile page on Instagram and getting your neighbour jealous. Keep your phone well charged and take a lot of  pictures. You should target at least 3 - 5 good pictures and enjoy the look of envy on your neighbour's face once you are back in office.  8. Wear a good pair of shoes and carry a light bag © Unsplash It is absolutely necessary to carry a light bag with only the bare essentials - a bottle of water, an umbrella, a few strips of band-aid and some protein bars. It isn't a great idea to carry your laptop, your laptop charger, your make up accessories, your tablet, your tablet charger, a party dress, etc. It is unlikely you will be taking a conference call with your boss from the deep recesses of the mountain. In addition, the mountains don't appreciate if you write a software code while ascending. The right footwear is a must too. 9. Be nice to fellow hikers  © Unsplash You will see all sorts of people climbing alongside you - some will coast up effortlessly, some will take regular breaks while some will struggle and make the trip back. As there is no annual appraisal involved, do lend a helping hand to a tired tourist over a ridge or wear a simple smile. You will be amazed at how helpful it can be to the other person. A trek up to the mountain is not a marathon where the time taken to complete it has to be blabbered relentlessly on Twitter.  10. Be physically active from a week before  © Skeeze As most of us purchase gym memberships and rarely use them, our physical fitness is slightly behind Virat Kohli's. In addition, physical fitness is more than doing 20 push ups in office to impress the pretty colleague of yours. Do get physically active a week before to acclimatise your body to the impending trek.  In conclusion, I strongly recommend that everyone undertakes a trek to a mountain once a year. Besides the natural beauty, it is a great way to clear your mind and appreciate the smaller valuable gifts life has bestowed you with. There is no better way to undertake a digital detox. The guide above should go a long way in making that difficult journey easy and memorable.  Author bio: Sandeep Das, is an MBA from IIM Bangalore and an alumni of INSEAD. What Is Article 370? © Reuters By far one of the most controversial subjects that gripped India in 2019, abrogation of Article 370 by the Government in October this year opened up a wide chasm of debate and discussions related to the special status that had been granted to the state of Jammu & Kashmir in 1954. A lot has been said and done regarding the move since, and it seems most Indians came to Google seeking answers that weren't readily available elsewhere. 2) What Is Exit Poll? © Reuters Over the past few years, more and more Indians are taking greater interest in Indian politics and the political scenario in the country. Elections seem to have succeeded in attracting more personal attention lately, though the credibility of the same has become questionable since the Maharashtra assembly polls. However, it's good to see that more people want to learn about exit polls and not just if their party is winning. 3) What Is A Black Hole? © NASA This one never grows old, does it? While a very base understanding will tell you that it is a place in space where the pull of gravity is so magnificent even light cannot escape from it, many astronomy enthusiasts continue to wait for answers to their more intricate questions on the subject. 4) What Is Howdy Modi? © Twitter Ah! The mega 'Howdy Modi' event that took the global media by storm, it was big enough for the Indian populace to dig up more dirt on one of the biggest events held for a foreign minister in the US. What turned this into an even bigger deal was the US President participating in the event! 5) What Is E-Cigarette? © Unsplash Erm, we don't know what is not obvious about the name, but we hope people really looked it up to find out its pros and cons in an attempt to quit tobacco. (Talk about wishful thinking.) And, of course, the ban on e-cigarettes by the Centre would have also added to the search volume. 6) What Is The DLS Method In Cricket? © Reuters Well, talk about India and its unwavering love for the game of cricket. Indians are so into this sport, we even looked up what the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method is to better understand and enjoy the game. Wah, je baat! An aware fan is any day better than just being an enthusiast, right? 7) What Is The Ayodhya Case? © BCCL We were pretty sure this one would pop up on the list, and for obvious reasons. The landmark verdict on the Ayodhya Ramjanmabhoomi Land Dispute was made by the Supreme Court in November 2019 after thirty years of wait. 8) What Is Article 15? © Zee Music Company This perhaps has a lot to do with Ayushmann Khurrana's film by the same name. Unfortunately, it took an entire film and over two hours of run time for us to learn about a very important aspect of the Indian Constitution that Indians have been turning a blind eye towards for the longest time. Good to see people wanted to learn more about it. 9) What Is Surgical Strike? © RSVP Movies Uri, is that you? We guess it is. This one also has a lot to do with our patriotic sentiments and we totally understand why more and more people wanted to learn about the entire deal. And we trust Vicky Kaushal had a major role to play in it. 10) What Is National Register Of Citizens Of India? © BCCL Well, something that's still chasing the country to the end of the decade, NRC and the many debates surrounding it are here to stay. At least for a while. And it's understandable why people want to learn and understand it for their personal knowledge and benefit.

Boss Surprised His Employees With A $10 Million Bonus While Ours Doesn't Even Say Hi To Us

Christmas is almost here and a lot of people, not living in India, are getting a holiday bonus, you know, that thing we should've gotten during Diwali? Well, the generosity of one boss, in particular, is putting literally everyone else to shame. Edward St. John, founder of St. John Properties, a Baltimore-based commercial real estate firm, set the bar way too high after giving away a total of $10 million as a holiday bonus to all of his employees. 10 million freaking dollars, that's about 71 crore rupees. © St. John Properties The best part of it all was that it went down at a holiday party, which means all the employees were together and they opened their envelopes containing their individual checks at the same time. The individual amount was based on their years of service, with some people even getting a bonus of an outrageous amount like $270,000, which is almost two crore rupees. Imagine getting a check like that, I wouldn't know how to behave. Talking about the entire thing, Melissa Alleman, the company's payroll and benefits administrator, said, "I remember opening the envelope, seeing the number, blinking my eyes a couple of times because I thought my vision was off and then hugging my coworkers. I think I said a few times, 'I can't breathe,' I felt a little nauseous and then just celebrated." © St. John Properties She added, "I felt like I finally lived out my own Hallmark movie." Even the newest employee wasn't left out; apparently, the employee who started his job the Monday after the holiday party got a $100 check. Larry Maykrantz, the president of the company, said, "I'll never forget it when all of the employees at the same time opened up their envelope and saw their individual bonus amount. There was crying, screaming, hugging, laughing. They were so overcome with emotion." © St. John Properties He added, "Then they all stormed forward to the podium and over the next hour they shook our hands and told us what they were going to use the money for. I heard over and over again that night that this was a life-changing event." This Oprah-esque moment was a result of the company reaching its goal of a portfolio of 20 million-square-feet of real estate, which was set way back in 2005. Well, looks like it was a long time coming and they found the perfect way to celebrate the incredible feat. Maykrantz said, "We wanted it to be impactful and we wanted to in a big way say, 'Thank you'. This was something to thank them for the last 48 years of our organization and the achievement we just reached." Moreover, this was a bonus-bonus. The employees will receive their normal, annual holiday bonus and their profit-sharing bonus in the New Year. If you're jealous about the fact that you don't work there right now, join the club. A message to our boss, please consider the first two lines of this song. And lastly, a message for the company - are y'all hiring? (Just kidding)

South Asian & Indian PUBG Champ Naman MortaL Mathur Explains How To Win A Chicken Dinner

On any given day, there are over 20 million Indians playing PUBG on their mobile phones - whether on a break at work, having a quick session with their roommates or just enjoying a solo run while on the commute home, this game has, without question, turned into an overnight sensation since its launch in early 2018. One of the most popular and skilled players that surfaced in the following months turned out to be Navi Mumbaiâs Naman âMortaLâ Mathur - frontman and attacker for one of Indiaâs most successful international gaming outfits, Team Soul. Streaming to audiences of millions every day and putting India on the global esports map, we sat down for an exclusive interview with Naman, which you can check out here. We also took a moment to steal some sage PUBG advice from the pro himself - hereâs what he suggests that players keep in mind during a round of battle-royale goodness. Itâs Not About Loot - Itâs About Positioning View this post on InstagramYour ups and downs are your challenges which you will face. Never give up. Because you have already come a long way. #pubgmobile #pubg #mortal #Mortalarmy #dreamhack @nodwingaming @thatesportscameraguy @8bit_thug @soul_viper Thank you for standing by me since the beginning of us â¤ï¸ #s8ul #OnePlus #NeverSettleA post shared by (@ig_mortal) Often when launching into a game of PUBG, itâs common to see players dart about with reckless abandon, trying their best to secure loot. With 35 weapons and several kinds of gear and consumables to add to your arsenal, it might sound tempting to focus on picking up as much as you can find - although this comes at a tactical cost. âRight now, most people think that if they have a lot of loot, theyâll win the game,â notes Naman. "Itâs not about loot, itâs about position. Letâs say you have an Uzi, one of the smallest weapons in the game, and someone else has an M249 machine gun, with a level 3 backpack and everything. Even with all of this, if you catch him in the wrong position, heâs going to die anyway. Remember, itâs not about the loot - itâs about positioning.â Focus On One Particular Drop View this post on InstagramWhen pressure surrounds you. Just breath, smile and thumbs up ðA post shared by (@ig_mortal) PUBG features four maps of varying sizes - ranging from 64 km² to 16 km². All of them have their own intricacies and challenges to master, though youâll often find teams pushing either towards conflict-heavy zones or safer spots. Naman suggests a better long-term strategy. âRight now in India, most teams have a fixed dropsite. If you play with the same group, itâs best to focus on one particular drop, regardless of whether youâre being followed by other squads - if you keep practicing with the same area, youâll learn the map better and can use that to your advantage in any situation.â Remain Calm And Composed View this post on InstagramThank you for having me here Jaipur ð Insane energy ð Insane vibes âºï¸ @pubgmobile.in.officialA post shared by (@ig_mortal) Like any shooter, a lot of PUBG success depends simply on whether you can hit your targets before they can hit you, and several beginners find themselves frustrated after repeated deaths in 1v1 situations. While gun attachments help a bit with accuracy, Naman suggests that thereâs no shortcut to skillful playing. âItâs not really about searching for the right grip for your gun, even if you donât have an attachment you can still aim. The only way is to remain calm and composed - you can improve your skills in the training grounds. Muscle memory is the most important thing here, and it comes only with practice.â No Risk, No Reward View this post on InstagramDIGITAL DISRUPTOR 2019 ð THANK YOU @mensxpofficial ! While most shooters have you competing with 15-31 other players, the battle-royale genre is a 100-man show with no respawns once youâre taken down. In short, if you want to win, itâs all or nothing. âI believe that you need to take risks - thatâs the first thing. Nothing is going to do itself for you. Take risks, keep moving around and believe in your aim. You need to practice such that you have the confidence to take down anyone in a 1v1 battle, or any such scenario. In regular matches, you donât gain anything by camping around - you need to move and explore your skill sets.â

Sara Ali Khan & Not PM Modi Was Among The Most-Searched Indians In Pak In 2019 & We Can't Even

As we gear-up to wrap 2019 and enter a new decade, Google has rolled out its annual lists (country-wise and globally) of top trends and topics that people searched the most throughout the year. Just like for India, Google released a list of top trends for our neighbour Pakistan too and the result is not something we expected, to be honest. Among the top 10 most-searched people, three were Indian personalities - Indian Air Force Pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, singer Adnan Sami and actress Sara Ali Khan. View this post on Instagram à¤à¤¨ à¤à¤à¤à¥à¤ à¤à¥ मसà¥à¤¤à¥ ð Rekha Ji se hai Sara bahut ससà¥à¤¤à¥ ðµ Luckily, voh apne aap pe hi हसà¥à¤¤à¥ ð She says all this and then voh फसà¥à¤¤à¥ ð¸ #sarakishayari #ShouldWriteADiary #UffSoFiery ð¸: @dop007 A post shared by Sara Ali Khan (@saraalikhan95) on Dec 10, 2019 at 7:31pm PST Now, we know some of you will ask, 'how is Adnan Sami an Indian?'. Well, although he was born in Pakistan, Adnan Sami was granted Indian citizenship in 2016. The singer was in the news multiple times throughout the year for his political opinion and statements. Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was kept in the custody of the Pakistan Army in March, after his aircraft crashed on the other side of the LoC during aerial combat between Indian and Pakistani fighter planes; was on the ninth spot.   © Facebook While Kabir Singh topped the list of movies in India, Avengers: Endgame was on top in Pakistan, followed by Bigg Boss 13 on the second spot. We get why the first two names are present on the list, but why did people search for Sara Ali Khan? She didn't show up anywhere in the list of top 10 personalities in India, but was the sixth most-searched personality in Pakistan.

7 Retro Fashion Trends That Made A Strong Comeback & Defined The Decade

When it comes to fashion, there are certain aspects that leave an indelible impression on us. No matter what the fashion police say about them (usually bashing them and calling them 'fads', they do make a comeback every 5-10 years. © Instagram/fdciofficial Then there are some trends and 'fads', which, when they make a comeback, it makes people feel “How on earth did they really go out of fashion?" This inkling is sometimes so strong, that instead of trickling down and slowly permeating our zeitgeist, they just explode.  © Instagram/theanisha These statement worthy trends can be spotted not just on actors, stars and others in vogue, but on common people too, who consider themselves to have nothing to do with fashion, i.e. fashion renegades. © Viral Bhayani Here are seven such trends made a huge comeback this decade. The best thing about them, however, is the fact that we simply owned them up, deconstructed, and made them our own. PS - We loved each and every one of them 1. Baggy Athleisure © Instagram/badboyshah Wearing 'ill-fitting' clothes was once a cardinal fashion sin. So much so, that, if the fashion police had their way, people who wore ill-fitting clothes would have been executed (just a figure of speech, guys). However, 2010s were the years of the baggy athleisure wear. Athleisure anyway was huge, especially in the late 2000s. However, it simply exploded after the change of the decade. As for baggy sweatshirts, and co-ord tracksuits, they just roared into the scene and how. From A-list directors to the most in-demand rappers and musicians, everyone could be seen in a pair of oversized track jackets, and pants that looked like they were repurposed from parachutes. 2. Chunky Dad-Sneakers © Instagram/ishabhansali Oh boy, where do we begin with these… As popular as sneakers were this decade, chunky dad sneakers were monumental. For something that started as basic, “non-fashion” pieces, it just exploded towards the middle of the decade. So much so, that sneakerhead worth his salt, would have at least one pair of chunky, dad sneakers, and always in some simplistic colour. These sneakers just symbolised, how normcore became the “It” thing this decade. 3. Fanny Packs © MensXP / Sowrav Bhowmik If I had a rupee for every time someone cracked a joke or two at my fanny pack back in the 2000s, I am pretty sure I would have been able to afford this Gucci belt bag. This decade, belt bags or fanny packs, as a trend, made one of the most resounding comebacks, especially during the latter half of the decade. What once was a very “touristy” and “yucky” thing, could not only be spotted on some of the most religiously followed celebrities, but also on some of the most coveted runways from fashion weeks across the world. One of the main reason why we as a society felt so strongly about the belt bag was not just its utility, but the fact, that we really reconstructed it to bring it to the 21st century. Just consider the materials - from nylon, we moved onto calfskin leather, khadi cotton, linen, velvet, jacquard and what not. And let's not even get started on the embellishments and silhouettes. 4. Oversized Suits © Instagram/nikitajaisinghani For something that was a massive hit during the '80s in the USA, and during the '90s in India, oversized suits saw a massive resurgence this decade. Speaking of suits from the '90s that made a comeback, we also saw three buttoned blazers on and off the ramp on a number of occasions, especially post 2017. Them making a major comeback during the 2020s should not come as a surprise, therefore. This decade saw several 'antiquated' silhouettes ruling the street. And man, the manner in which jacket collars have been manipulated throughout the decade is simply insane.  5. Zany, Quirky Prints © Instagram/theanisha Suits, shirts, pants, sneakers - you name it and we can show you some celebrity, or the other wearing something with a zany and quirky print. And we are not just talking about printed slogans, but a mish-mash maze of colours, emblems and patterns. From tie-and-dye prints to psychedelic iterations, and even animal prints, the 2010s saw some really unhinged pieces come to life. From zebra printed suits to memes being printed on t-shirts, we saw it all proliferate the market. 6. Everything Neon © Instagram/nitashagaurav Neon coloured clothing items were conspicuously absent from the market and the streets through the better part of the 2000s. After all, back then, pastels were our newfound love. However, with the turn of the decade, our craving for all things neon came to an avenue, where it knew no bounds - we had neon colours for everything - track pants, jackets, sneakers, suits - you name it. 7. Low-Top White Sneakers © Instagram/jaysamuelstudio Remember our canvas keds, or PT shoes, with those green soles? Would you have believed it if we said that barely a decade later, they would be one of the most raved about trends? The thing is, as phenomenally widespread coloured low-top sneakers were, white low-top sneakers were just everywhere. Thanks to our love for all things retro, we paired white low-top sneakers with just about everything, starting from jeans and t-shirts, to suits.

10 Movies Indians Googled The Most In 2019 & All Is Well Till #9, Then It's Not

India and its love for entertainment ensure that the movie theatres never run out work in our country. As a nation of ardent movie lovers, we enjoy a good round or two of masala flicks just as much as the not-so-masaledaar ones. But don't expect us to stop at helping movie theatres generate good revenues, because we also believe in Google-ing the shit out of the movies we love (or hate?) too.  Here are 10 such films Indians Googled the most in 2019: 1. Kabir Singh © T-Series Controversy or not, controversial director or not, the Hindi remake of the superhit Telugu film Arjun Reddy found many takers even amongst Hindi movie lovers. People loved Shahid Kapoor as Kabir Singh, and its top spot on this list only confirms how widely popular the film has been in 2019. 2. Avengers: Endgame © Walt Disney Studios Besides the mega opening of the film being received worldwide, it also went on to break a number of box office records even otherwise! Not only did it become the number one movie of all time overtaking Avatar, but fans also loved absolutely everything about the film and couldn't stop talking about how marvel-lous it was! 3. Joker © Warner Bros. Do we even need to tell you why this one is in the top 3? Not just Joker the character, but Joaquin Phoenix's performance in the film was so top-notch, nobody in their right mind can overlook it. No wonder it went on to become the highest-rated comic book movie ever! 4. Captain Marvel © Marvel Studios Was Brie Larsson an absolute marvel in this film or what? One of the strongest superheroes in the MCU, this was the first female-led MCU movie and boy, it sure did justice to all the hype. From the plot to the characterisations and performances, everything about this film hit us in the feels. 5. Super 30 © Phantom Films Hrithik's comeback film after a hiatus of two years, Super 30, based on the life of Anand Kumar was welcomed with open arms by the audience. Except the make-up made darkened skin on Hrithik, the movie did a good job of putting forth the other side of the story in a very Bollywood-y style. 6. Mission Mangal © Cape of Good Films Of course, an Akshay Kumar movie had to be on the list (though, it isn't the only one). Based on India's upcoming Mars mission, it inspired a lot of positive furore around our talented ISRO scientists. Given its release against the backdrop of Chandrayaan-2, Mission Mangal inspired strong patriotic feelings amongst the masses. 7. Gully Boy © Excel Entertainment One of the big hits from earlier this year, This Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer opened a new avenue for the Bollywood audience, and every movie-goer appreciated the insights. From the exposure to the underground rap culture in India, to stunning performances by all the artists, this was definitely a 2019 highlight. 8. War © Yash Raj Films Another one of Hrithik's films from 2019 that made an impact at the box office, the action-drama brought together two of Bollywood's fittest actors and dancers. Though there was nothing too hatke about the film's script, people sure liked the action that was presented in the film by the lead stars. 9. Housefull 4 © Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Like we said, this is another one of Akki's hit films this year and the fourth instalment of the Housefull series was surely well-received much like the last three. Regardless of the change of directors and the absurdity of the plot, people called it a complete entertainer. 10. Uri - The Surgical Strike © RSVP Movies A movie that also became the 'breakthrough moment' for Vicky Kaushal, this is one of the best military action films Bollywood has produced in recent times. Right from the picturisation, to the casting and performances, this totally deserved all the hype.

Looks Like Virat Kohli Wore A Messenger Sling Worth Rs 1.5 Lakh As A Fanny Pack & We Are Confused

Virat Kohli's style game has levelled up in the past few months. When it comes to the Indian cricket team, we see a lot of healthy competition when it comes to playing on the field, while on the other side, he is serving us killer airport looks. From Hardik Pandya's flashy digs to Ravindra Jadeja's effortless casuals and then we have Virat Kohli with his carefully curated outfits.  So for a recent airport look, Virat Kohli was seen in his workout gear, but to give the outfit a little something extra, he added a Louis Vuitton Bum Geronimos-Belt Waist Cross Body Bag. This crossbody sling comes for the price of Rs 1,50,000 approximately. Take a look here: © Viral Bhayani If you look closely, his side sling looks more like a messenger bag that he chose to wear around his chest. © Viral Bhayani Usually, every time Anushka and Virat travel, they tend to twin each time. From coordinated sweatshirts, outerwear, shades to even sneakers, they've matched them all! However, it looks like this time was a clear exception to the rule. This outfit seems to be really working for Virat as it's rather convenient to add all the knicks-knacks in the cross-body sling without having to hold anything in your hand at the airport. © Viral Bhayani Besides, it looks quite rad.

Elon Musk's SpaceX Is Sending Cannabis And Coffee To Space

SpaceX is apparently set to send cannabis and coffee plants into space, and no, Elon Musk is not trying to get aliens high or anything, it's actually a science experiment. Basically, SpaceX has teamed up with a Colorado research lab to send hemp and coffee plants up to the International Space Station next year. While it might seem like they're just looking out for the astronauts by providing them with some recreational things in space, it's actually an experiment to test plants in a zero gravity. While the idea of high astronauts in space, or better yet, aliens, is hilarious, the cell cultures being sent aboard the ISS will be contained in a special incubator with regulated temperature for around 30 days. They will be monitored by a team on the ground and will then arrive back on earth after a month. Once returned, Front Range Biosciences, an agricultural biotech company that breeds genetically consistent hemp and coffee varieties that are providing the cell cultures, would examine the effects of microgravity and space radiation exposure on the plants. Dr Jonathan Vaught, Co-Founder and CEO of Front Range Biosciences, said, "This is one of the first times anyone is researching the effects of microgravity and spaceflight on hemp and coffee cell cultures. There is science to support the theory that plants in space experience mutations. This is an opportunity to see whether those mutations hold up once brought back to earth and if there are new commercial applications." Well, this is pretty fascinating, and we obviously know that Elon Musk wants to move to Mars one day, so it's very important for him especially. You know how he's got to have his special stuff. So sure that people are now going to be very interested in the next mission.

5 Most Valuable Companies Of The World & No, Apple Isnt No. 1 On The List Anymore

The universe of world business is too massive and unpredictable to keep up with. Conglomerates are constantly hustling to do good, make better and give the best to its consumers in order to come out as winners in the race to be the next big thing in the space.
While people like to debate whether world-domination might be on their list next, we list out the top 5 most valuable companies in the world as of December 2019, as per the latest market values shared by The Spectator Index and trust us their net worth is enough to make a world of difference to the society, given the money is put to good use. 1. Saudi Aramco © Reuters The national petroleum and natural gas company of Saudi Arabia made its trading debut in December 2019, and started trading at a record breaking $25.6 billion! From Evin Lewis Fielding To Kieron Pollards Splendid Last Stand, Indians Adore The Windies

How often does it happen that the home crowd cheers for the visiting team?
The T20I series between India and the West Indies has been nothing short of exciting and with a great level of competition to keep the fans on the edge of their seats throughout the three games.  And even though Virat Kohli and the rest of the Men in Blue did manage to edge the visitors with a spectacular batting performance in the decider and won the series 2-1, it was a pleasure watching Kieron Pollardâs men step up to the challenge and make it an even contest.  While Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were on a tear from the word go, you have to acknowledge the fielding which had to be one of the greatest parts of the first half of the game for the Carribean players.  The efforts of Windies opener Evin Lewis were specially commended by the Mumbai crowd when Sharma smashed a Khary Pierre delivery towards deep mid-wicket but he stopped the ball from going for a six with one hand following a superhuman jump. Landing just in front of the boundary line, Lewis had the presence of mind to toss the ball inside the field as he jumped over the display monitors. pic.twitter.com/x3X1QJHgeU â Cricket (@cricketvideos13) December 11, 2019 Popular opinion: Kohli is the King of taking blinders.

With their opening batsman Evin Lewis being unfortunately ruled out from batting due to a soft-tissue injury in his knees, Pollard had to put the team on his shoulders, especially with the rate at which the Windies batters were falling, one after the other.  After a certain point of time, Pollard realised that it was now or never for his team if they wanted to win and then began the reign of terror for the Indian bowlers. Shivam Dube, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav just watched their deliveries fly past the boundary and disappear into the crowd of people who were found ducking their heads, scared for their lives.  Pollardâs firepower affected Yadav the most, who even changed his bowling grip and started throwing the ball at speeds completely uncharacteristic of his natural game with the fastest ball at the speed of 109 kmph.  Even the commentators believed that it was anybodyâs game until Pollard was standing tall at the crease.  After five fours and six sixes, Pollard finally went away on a misjudged full-toss by Kumar in the 15th over. Scoring 68 runs off 39 balls, Pollard walked away to a standing ovation by the local audience.
